2011/2012 Semester 2

I just had my first lesson for the semester today and I was suddenly remembered that I forgot to write this entry. Haha.

Here are the modules that I will be taking this semester.
Last semester before I join the workforce and contribute to the GDP of Singapore. Haha.

FIN4112G: Seminar in Finance: Private Equity
HY2220: Korea in the Twentieth Century
LAK1201: Korean 1
GEK1003: Introduction to Politics
BCP4002: Consulting Practicum

Of cos this semester i will have to continue with my Consulting Practicum project. This semester the focus is to get the report out. Gonna be lotsa writing and analysis cos previous groups doing our project had submitted reports with 300 pages. So must at least be on par. Wah 300 page lor can die sia. Machiam writing a book.

And if u notice, this sem is also very Korean for me. Will be taking Korean history and Korean Language. This is my first time taking a third language course in NUS. I pray that i can survive. Just learning the vowels online, i already wanna faint. Haha.

This semester, i will be going all out in my job hunting as well.
Really wish that i can secure a reasonable job before graduation.

Praying that the Lord open up doors for me in my job hunt and guide me in choosing the right career path.
May He lead us through all the obstacles and challenges ahead!!!

2012 New Year Resolutions

Hey all,
This is my first entry of 2012 and i figure that it is time to make some New Year Resolutions.
Setting some targets and goals for myself!!!!!
Alright so here goes:

1) Maintain cap at around 3.7 and graduate with Second Lower.

2) Maintain close relationship with God.

3) Maintain close relationship with close friends.

4) Find a reasonably reputable and well-paid full time permanent job that is fulfilling.

5) Finish reading Superfreakonomics and another book of my choice.

6) Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy diet to shed the tummy.

7) Start planning and building up my personal finances (Insurance, Investments and Savings)

8) Building up my confidence level.

9) Having a passionate and enthusiastic mindset in whatever I do.

10) Sharpen my driving skills.

The final two are more of personal wishes and desires for the new year rather than resolutions.

11) Going for a wonderful Graduation Trip.

12) The secret wish continues this year!!!! :) Hope will be realized soon.

There you have it.
May the Lord lead the way and make 2012 an awesome year for all of us!!!

2011 Resolutions Review (Xian Hao)

Hi all,
As 2011 is coming to a close, I think it is time for me to do some reflections and see whether i hit the target i set for myself at the beginning of the year.

So here goes my 2011 resolutions review.

1) Improve CAP score to at least 3.7.

I did it!!! Very happy. Must continue to fight in the new year. Last sem alr.

2) Maintain close relationship with God!!!!

I think i did have a closer relationship with God this year as compared to last year. But of cos it can be improved.

3) Maintain close relationships with my wonderful cliques of friends (Zhui Xing, Uni, Ter lil chris, 5sis3)

Ups and Downs as usual. Conflicts and drifting apart issues do occur. But im glad that they are all resolved. Fantastic Trip to Bali with ZX too.

4) Build up more self confidence in myself!!!!! I seriously lacking in this area sometimes and hate myself for that. This year must improve.

Regarding this, i think still abit fail. Will doubt myself and my abilities at times. Haiz. Need to have more self confidence. Definitely lotsa room for improvements for this one.

5) Finish reading the book that i got for my Birthday last year and another book of my interest (be it finance, sociology or economics).

Yup. I did that. :) Read 2 books. A Gift to my Children by Jim Rogers and The Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Currently in the midst of reading Superfreakonomics by Steven D. Levitt & Stephen J. Dubner.

6) Hopefully have a chance to know more friends and join new clique. :)

I wouldn't say i had joined a new clique but im grateful that i had a chance to meet new people and we became close friends. :)

7) Get an Internship during the summer vacation.

Thank God for the opportunity to work in Coca Cola during the summer. :)

8) Shed 2 to 3 kg and flatten tummy. (Vigorous exercise coming up liao. Haha.)

I did exercise more this year. I might have lost some weight but the tummy is going no where. Lol.

9) Maintain passion in studies and whatever i do. Passion brings people further and stretches our potential. Very important.
Rather than having more passion in studies. I regret to say that my passion is slowly dying. Haiz. Not sure if it is a symptom that all final year students will face. 

10) Bank Balance is drying up. Must bring up the numbers!!!!!

Thanks to internship pay and government progress package, i managed to maintain the numbers. Didn't bring up though.

11) Similar to last year, i will have a secret wish to myself.
Its the same wish as last year cos last year didn't come true so making the same wish again.
Hopefully can finally come true!!!
I wouldn't say the secret wish had came true but things are looking good. I hope. Haha.

Reflections:
All in all, I would say that i had accomplished much of what i had set out to do.
Very thankful and grateful to God for all the opportunities that I have been given.
I received a lot of help from a lot of 贵人 as well. Thanks to them, the task to complete these resolutions becomes a little bit easier.
Lastly, I think i would need to work more on self improvement next year. I noticed that the resolutions not accomplished this year are all very personalized. Self confidence and passion, two things that i feel are very important in order to succeed and are qualities that i am lacking now. Yup.

Hope you guys had a really great year too.
And may 2012 be all the more awesome. Yay!!!!

2011/2012 Semester 1

The new semester is starting and here are the modules that I will be doing.

BCP4002: Consulting Practicum
HY2229: Nation Building in Singapore
MNO4313B: Seminar in M&O: Culture and Management in Asia
PS2249: Government and Politics of Singapore
SC2210: Sociology of Popular Culture

As you can see, I will be mostly in Arts this semester.
Feeling quite apprehensive about the level 4 management module cos I only took one management module prior to this and it is a level 4 module also. Hope that i will be able learn great insights from this module and also pray that i will be able to cope with this module's content and workload. I think have to submit assignment every week, hope i can do well in them as well.

I foresee this semester will be a relatively busy one especially with Consulting Practicum.
Hopefully i will be able to manage my time well and do well for all the modules.

May the Lord guide me along and help me brave through all the challenges ahead.

I am proud to say that my faculty ranks quite high also at No. 15.
Its the first in Asia and the second outside of US and UK.
Yay!!! For your information, NTU ranks at No. 44 while SMU is at the 151th to 200th region.

So I'm a little KPO and curious, went to check out the ranking for my fellow zhui xing members' faculty.

Servbot's Chemical Engineering course at NUS: 10th
Reiko's Chinese Studies at NUS (i assumed its ranked under Modern Languages): 18th
Mango's Chinese Studies at NTU (i assumed its ranked under Modern Languages): 51st to 100th Region
Not sure Chinese Studies should be ranked under modern languages or linguistics though. If it's under linguistics, Reiko's would be 15th while Mango's would be still be in the 51st to 100th region.

Outing Report by XianHao

Gosh. I guess it has been a long time since I have written an outing report.
The last one was like what .... 3 years ago? Or something like that?

This time have to fulfill my forfeit of losing the Citadels card game that we played last week during our boardgames session.
Wah, I last place lor. Such a once in a blue moon thingy. Cos the last place is usually occupied YOU KNOW WHO. Cannot say name one, if not like Voldemort like that will haunt you. Very scary.
Aniway, Im not really last place last place. It was a fight between me and Servbot. And Reiko has to decide who to give the last place to. In the end, she chose your truly. Arrgh!!!

So that day we had a hearty brunch at Strictly Pancakes.
Frankly speaking, Im not really a pancake kinda person. So i guess i can't really appreciate the art of pancakes but the meal was reasonably nice. The bacons and saugages were awesome.
After finishing our meal, we went to play boardgames. Shan't reveal the location cos we are there "illegally". Haha.

First game -- Citadels.
Not a bad game.
But this game i guess a lot of planning, guessing and strategising. And even after all that, it is not a guarantee that you will win the game.
Which explains why the very smart me ended up in the last position with the uber smart JR.
I guess an explanation of me ending up in that position is that someone very jealous of my smartness keep stealing my money and killing my characters. Arrgh.

After Citadels, Ms Mango have to leave to go for a concert. Free tickets again lor. So good.
There after we started playing our second game -- Munchkins.
Very complicated game wor. I guess you must be familiar with the game to enjoy the fun of it. We gradually get bored with it and shifted back to Citadels.
This time round i got second place lor. Damn, why we didn't organize forfeit for this round.
We should have something like dance to SNSD song at the premises. Haha.

After playing for awhile, quite hungry already and we decided to walk over to cityhall to enjoy NYNY. This time round we were offered candy floss. Wah so nice lor.
After dinner of course must HTHT la.
But this time HTHT not shiok enough.
Relf, you haven't seen and experienced the maximum potential of HTHT. Hope you get to enjoy the full spectrum for HTHT soon. Haha.


Since. im already blogging might as well blog about yesterday as well.
Yesterday was really fun too.
Thanks to deal.com.sg, we managed to treat ourselves to a buffet dinner at Holiday Inn at only half the cost.
I think for half the cost, the food there are quite decent.
I wouldn't say it is really nice but it is not bad la.
The lamp chop, the satay, the salmon and the ice cream are all not bad.
But the usually very glutton Mango quite picky this time. Her facial expression got this sian and disappointed look after she tried the food. Guess must be from the lunch buffet she had earlier that day. Haha.
But for half the price, i think its not bad la.
The environment and the view also not bad. (We got the window seat).
But i agree with the rest on the fact that i would not pay the full price for that buffet.

After eating its back to HTHT.
After warming up abit, the topic finally gets more and more exciting.
We chatted until forget the time and before we knew it we were the only ones still left at the place. We left shortly after realizing that and decided to continue our chat at the hotel lobby.
Very lucky to have found the comfy sofa.
All i can say is, the chat makes me look forward to the Zhui Xing Overseas Trip this Dec.
Im sure it will be a blast!!!

Time always flies when you are enjoying.
Really nice to have found this bunch of people whom i can chat so comfortably with!!!

Your Vote is Indeed Secret

Time flies and today is the last day of campaigning for the various party for the Singapore General Election 2011.
Tomorrow is the cooling day where none of the parties are allowed to campaign for their votes.

Come this Saturday will be the polling day where many of us will get to vote for the first time.

Many are concerned as to whether the votes that you cast are really secret.
Because there is a serial number and your I/C and name attached to it.

Well, your vote is indeed secret.

Star Awards Prediction 2011

Hey everyone.
Here is my overdue prediction of the Star Awards 2011 that will be held this Sunday.

And my predictions are:

最佳男主角: 黄俊雄/破天网
Can see he put a lot of effort in this role. Even go and do research.
But i got a bugging feeling that 李铭顺 could end up getting it. Dark horse to watch out for.

最佳女主角： 欧萱/破天网
It is her turn la. Just let her get this award k? She should have gotten it 2 years ago for her role in 小娘惹 lor. This show also not bad.
But after 瑞恩 didn't get the 飞跃奖 last week, i got a feeling she might get it in the end also.

最佳男配角： 曹国辉/五福到

最佳女配角：郭舒贤/走进走出
Dark horse to watch out for is definitely 许美珍.

最佳综艺节目主持人：Pornsak/食在好源头
But after 飞跃奖 victory last week, this award might just end up in 钟琴's hand.
Last year's winner 黄俊雄 didn't get the 最佳男主角 award in the end as well.

He seems quite professional in that show.

最佳新闻主播： 林启元
Please let him win already.

Hope he wins. I like his style of reporting. I think 林有懿 not bad also.

This is a very bold prediction.
I'm guessing it will be 最火搭档 rather than blockbuster of the year 破天网 because the story and all is more 紧凑.

最佳综艺节目: 名厨出走记
It instantly became a hot favourite after last week's award ceremony and clinching so many professional award.

最佳综艺特备节目： 同济医院慈善夜
I remembered the hospital was packed with patients after the show was aired. Wah very effective.

2010/2011 Semester 2 Modules

Hey guys,
I have just started my new semester and here are the modules that i will be taking this semester.

FIN3117 Bank Management
FIN3119 Risk and Insurance
FIN4112E Personal Finance and Private Wealth Management
JS2213 Popular Culture in Contemporary Japan
SC2208 Population and Society

With that i will be having 5 days work week.
No more free days for me. Haha.

Wanted to take more interesting UE this sem but the bid points are either too high or the timing clashes with my other core modules.
Haiz, i guess i shall make do with the ones i have.
Wanted to take popular culture for quite sometime already, but it would so much better if its Korean or Mandarin Popular Culture. Don't really know much about Japanese Pop Culture. Guess i would have to open my eyes and listen during lecture.
I believe there are areas that will capture my attention also.

Wanted to take sociology of deviance or gender studies de, both are my areas of interest but bid points seriously too high. I guess have to make do with population studies. Hopefully will find something in this module that will interest me as well.

This sem will also be my first time trying out level 4 modules.
Wow. Sounds a bit intimidating but the lesson plan and course description sounds interesting enough so hopefully i will gain something from it. :)

All in all, i hope pray that this sem will go well.
May the Lord give us His guidance.
Pray that i will overcome all the obstacles ahead and also get to learn new stuff.
N also pray that my passion will continue burning. :)

To those still studying, may we have an awesome semester ahead.

2010 Resolution Review

Its the time of the year once again to do a conclusion for the whole year and do some self reflection.

2010年有得也有失。有开心与失落。
I guess this is you get some and you don't get some ba.

So here is the resolutions i made in the beginning of the year.
Lets see whether i got achieve them anot.
Nervous sia. Haha.

1) Improve CAP score to at least 3.7.
Cap remains relatively constant. I actually quite relieve that never drop.
But shall work harder next year so that can at least get 3.7.

2) Pass Driving Practical finally and Get Driving License
Managed to pass my driving test and get my license in Feb.
But im still abit 懵懵懂懂 on the road. Haha.

3) Be closer to God
There were times when i sort of neglected God i admit.
But i do try my best to pray and spread the love around.
I was glad that i was given a chance this Xmas to go back to church and reconnect with Him again. So i guess this resolution should be a success.

4) Maintain close relationships wif current clique (Zhui Xing, 5sis3, Ter chris n lil that gang, Uni frens)
Yes managed to maintain close relationships. Although there are still arguments here and there still but those arise out of my control. Can't do anything. In fact managed to solve a few of them. Wonder how i do it sometimes also. Haha. Must be the strength that God bestow me. Amen.
Went KL with Ter chris n lil. Love their company.
I also proud of myself that i try my best to go to every single outing and not because sian then reject outings like before. Haha. As such i think closer to uni clique also.
Of cos, i still love my beloved Zhui Xing the most!!! Haha.

5) Hopefully an additional clique in my life and have more close friends.
Aye. Not quite.
Attempted and tried but 有些事真的不是努力就足够的.
新的一年得继续加油!!!

6) Study for the right reasons. Not just to improve CAP. Priority should be improving my own skills and knowledge. Find meaning in studies.
Yup. I think i did gain interest in my studies whether in finance or other arts module like sociology. I hope to continue keeping this up and not lose the passion.

7) Finish reading "Inside Steve's Brain".
Finished during the summer vacation!!!
Specifically during my ICT period.

8) Get an internship during the summer holidays.
Didn't manage to get one in the summer but got myself a finance internship in December. :)

9) Have more confidence in myself. Train myself up for the corporate world.
Hmmm, all i can say is i seriously need to work more on this.

10) Shed like at least 2 to 3kg. Flatten my tummy. Haha.
Got go exercise regularly la.
But seems like not much effect on my weight.
Some say i gain weight in fact. Others say i got lose weight.
Cannot cannot. Not satisfied. Must lose more weight.
That means more vigorously exercise regime next year.

11) I leave this last resolution to myself. Its more of a wish rather than a goal. Like making bdae wish like that must have one that cannot say one. Haha. Hope will come true.
Sadly, the wish haven't come true.

All in all, quite happy with my achievements.
But of cos got a lot of room for improvement.
Lots of work to do next year in terms of self improvement and confidence issue.

明年要多多加油啦!!!!

Hey people, it is me the editor of Zhui Xing blog. Haha.

Very happy to announce that there have been an increase in the number of visitors to our blog recently. If you have been following our statistics, we have already accumulated 19 thousands plus visits to our blog. I hope that by the end of this year, we will break the 20,000 mark.

And since there is a target, of cos there must be some strategies lined up to make sure we achieve that target. Haha. So let's do some advertising.

紫竹林 by Reiko, the new column that i told you guys about is finally established. The feedback for this column is quite positive. Got accumulate quite some substantial viewership for the blog. So well done, and i think since this is Reiko's passion, it believe it will not be a 三分钟热度 thing.
Look forward to more traditional Chinese poems, literature, history and stuff ba.
Don't be afraid if it is too chim for you cos our very own Chinese teacher will explain every thing to you in layman's term.

Personally, i am glad to see that finally something is done to this column cos i feel that it is quite out of focus like that. It used to be the winner of Most Creative Column leh, dunno why now become like that.

New Semester, New Challenges

Hey guys,
Very long never update my journal and write about my life liao. Haha.

New semester is starting and i guess this semester really holds much challenges ahead that I'm all pumped up and ready to conquer.
May God give my strength to conquer all these challenges and emerge as a strong fighter.
And may He give me more courage so that i will have the guts to go through the various obstacles ahead.
I pray that God will bestow me with confidence too. A quality that i often lack.
Pray also that with all these qualities that God has blessed me with, i would be able to stretch my potential to the fullest and will be able to do well in terms of work, relationship with others and life in general.
Hopefully i will not sink into self-doubt and i must try real hard to channel away those negative energies and thoughts in me. Yup.
Its all about Faith. Must have Faith in God and myself.

Alright new semester modules are confirmed and they are as follows.
BSP3001: Business Policy and Strategy
FIN3102: Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management

SC1101E: Making Sense of Society
As you can see there are like 3 finance modules that i am taking this semester.
Seriously, i might be a finance major but i feel that i still do not know that much about finance. I hope these 3 modules will make me understand finance more. Heard that i will be dealing with stocks and markets and etc. Never touch all these stuff before. But curious to know what's its like. So quite ironic. One part of me wanna learn but another part of me is afraid that because i got no prior knowledge to such stuff, i might be losing out on a lot.

Yup, and also my official sixth module would be to find an internship for the December holidays.
Shall utilize all the resources that i have. The internet, the school portals and maybe if possible via connections.
I have also decided that i want to help out my dad in his admin stuff. Dealing with payroll and whatnot. Like that i can write it down in my resume to spice it up a little bit. So that i have some relevant working experience.

Also, i must go and review my new year resolution and see which is still not fulfilled. Have to get them done also.

Oh, and not forgetting the fun part which is preparation for my annual Xmas party cum Jupiter Awards.

That is roughly my plan for the rest for the year.

P.S:~ I think i should do these kinda journal entries more often. Quite therapeutic. Haha.

Random Thoughts

有时候觉得，好像只有自己了解自己。
不知道大家是否也这样。
不管是再好的朋友或家人。都没有人真正了解你要的是什么。

I think there will be a high chance that i will be alone in my older days ba.
No friends, no partner, no lover. Haha.

So i guess from now, i must learn to buck up and be independent.
I can no longer depend on others le.
So that i would not have to starve to death or anything.

不知道自己在写什么。

My Star Awards Predictions

Star Awards 2010 will be held on 18th April and 25th. As the date draws nearer and nearer. I shall start the ball rolling by making my predictions before i have to disappear again for preparation of exams.

So here goes. Will be splitting my predictions into Winner and Dark House.
Winner as in the one i think most likely to win.
Dark Horse refers to those i think will potentially pose a threat.

Very high chance that 我们 will win. Cos this song very nostalgic. But if the judges prefer something commercial. 寂寞光年 might emerge as a winner. But still 75% chance it will be Weilian. The others dun stand a chance i think. And what is 乒乓圆 doing in this nomination list huh. No other nice songs le meh.

I think both 郭亮 and 王禄江 nominated for the wrong show lor.
王禄江 should be nominated with his tour show 优游天下 and 郭亮 got so many nice 资讯节目 why must be nominated for 明星志工队 which he appear for only one episode that kind. I think now it gives 周初明 a high chance to emerge as winner cos i remember watching the preview of this show and the way he host is very real and can see that he experience all the stuff and the food really means something to him.

High chance is Mark Lee la. I see him interact with those foreigners and yet no 冷场. Quite pro actually. But if im not wrong he win alot of time liao. So probably judges might give a chance to 周崇庆. Work hard for so long le, now 难得 got Auntie Lucy to help him. Haha.

国记交意所 is quite a new and creative concept and based on that in the pool of a lot of variety shows that are quite 千篇一律 in general, it should get that award.
三菜一汤2 the second season invited not only local celebrities but also overseas ones. N i think the 2nd season is definitely worth watching that its first. But 国记交意所 still stands a huge huge chance.

Auntie Golden Teeth la. Quite pro la and then the character stands out also.

Aiyah Jupiter Awards already gave him the Best Supporting Actor le lor. So Star Awards of cos 朱厚任 stands a high chance of winning la.
杨伟烈 not bad also. But too bad la. Competition too strong.

This year's Best Male/Female lead is by far the hardest to predict.
Competition is very strong and it can freaking be anyone.
But judging from her new ah-jie status, 欧萱 stands a great chance. She just needs to get a 女主角 award to make her ah-jie status more convincing. But the fight wont be easy, 洪慧芳 and 郭蕙雯 can emerge as winners anytime. Their characters more stand out then hers so 欧萱 has to depend on whether she can successfully bring out her character and move the judges.

I wanted to make a bold prediction and say that 黄俊雄 will win the award, but in the end i still put hot favourite 陈汉玮. To me, this race is 50-50.
陈汉玮 won freaking a lot of times le. He wowed us with his aids patient character last year and i think this character didnt really top that. The judges might even think that this auntie character might be a bit gimmicky. But still he winning the title is still convincing la. On the other hand, 黄俊雄 had such a successful role as 泰山 and i can see the sparks in his eyes and passion in this character. I guess he really like this character a lot. But many might think that his 资历 not enough and him holding this title is not convincing.
I dunno i cant decide. Hence, its 50-50 for me.

New Semester

Tml is the start of the new semester.
I can't believe the holidays are over. Haha.
But i truly had fun this holiday. So recharged and ready for the new semester.
I just finished clearing away all my textbooks and notes from last sem.
Then clear the table and arrange neatly so that got mood to study. Haha.
If not see the table so untidy also sian. Haha.

Okay so these are the modules i am taking this semester.

ACC2002: Managerial Accounting
BSP2001: Macro and International Economics
BSP2005: Asia Pacific Business, Ethics & Society
FIN3101: Corporate Finance
NM1101E: Communications, New Media and Society

Reiko got all artsy module while i got all businessy module. Haha.
First time attempt in doing a level 3 module also. Hope will be fine.
And i hope my decision to major in Finance is correct.
Next sem also have to frantically send out resume and cover letter. Must secure myself an internship position this summer!!! Yup. I must!!!

I pray that all of us will brave through the challenges ahead.

2010's New Year Resolution

Hey people is the 1st day of a brand new year and i believe it will be a good year ahead.
So to start of the fabulous year, I shall make my resolutions.

So here goes my 2010 New Year Resolution:

1) Improve CAP score to at least 3.7.

2) Pass Driving Practical finally and Get Driving License

3) Be closer to God

4) Maintain close relationships wif current clique (Zhui Xing, 5sis3, Ter chris n lil that gang, Uni frens)

5) Hopefully an additional clique in my life and have more close friends.

6) Study for the right reasons. Not just to improve CAP. Priority should be improving my own skills and knowledge. Find meaning in studies.

7) Finish reading "Inside Steve's Brain".

8) Get an internship during the summer holidays.

9) Have more confidence in myself. Train myself up for the corporate world.

10) Shed like at least 2 to 3kg. Flatten my tummy. Haha.

11) I leave this last resolution to myself. Its more of a wish rather than a goal. Like making bdae wish like that must have one that cannot say one. Haha. Hope will come true.

Review of 2009 Resolutions

As 2009 is coming to an end, it is time to do a little bit of review of what happened this year.
Aiyah you guys might not be interested. But i need to do this so at least i know this year never 白活. Haha. Before making new resolutions have to see whether you accomplish the old ones.

Okay so let's review:

1) Push up lousy CAP score to at least 3.5
Yup. I did it. My hard work did paid off. Thank God!!!!

2) Pass Driving Practical and Get a driving license
I was so close to getting this completed.
Only 10 demerit points if not for hitting the curb i would have got it.
This resolution shall be put forward to next year.

3) Be closer to God
As compared to last year, i think i grew much closer to God but i think still have room for improvement though.

4) Maintain close relationships with my dearest friends (Zhui Xing, 5sis, Terri & gang). No more hurting conflicts and people leaving clique!!!!
Okay there are minor arguments here and there but all in all nothing really serious until like breaking up the clique etc. So i guess this objective is achieved. Lol.

5) Less Politics
There is definitely less politics this year. Thank God.

6) Make friends but close ones not those that will cos more politics
I think this year i merely maintained the relationship i have with my current friends.
Got meet new people but more of high bye friends than those close ones.

7) Find meaning and interest in studies so that i will be able to take pride in my work.
Im still working on that so this one cannot consider accomplish.

8) Finish reading "The World is Flat" and "Keeping Faith"
Completed over the summer holidays!!!! Yay!!! Finally.

9) Increase amount of money in bank account (hopefully can do that by having an internship or part time job during summer holidays)
Got part time job in summer holidays but that just help in maintaining the amount in the bank not increasing it. In fact, i think it is shrinking. Haha.

10) Zhui Xing Entertainment News getting Most Creative Blog Column/Entry and Best Blog next year. Haha.
No awards this year. So this resolution is 废 one. Haha.

Not bad la. Got 4 accomplished. 1 废 resolution.
The others halfway there like that.

Finished wrapping up 2009. Time to set my goals for 2010.
