Princess Sala Superstar finals

Went to watch the Superstar finals yesterday.. I think, I shud explain abit about howcome, I could go.. Coz my big sister, Yanfang, got the tics from her relative, and wanted to go with a friend, so ask me go.. So happy to see her again!! ^__^

Anyway, we didn’t know how to get to the indoor stadium, but we didn’t want to take a bus, so we walk. And guess what, we did reach the indoor stadium. How did I managed to do that? Mainly becoz we had street sense..haha..we tailed behind people, whom we think should be going to the superstar thingy. And yanfang keep asking me, if I am sure I am walking the right way. I never walk before, I don’t know, but I not scared at all.. Only for once, when I don’t know if we are on right track, after walking like, a very long distance!

Then I have to say about this sign board. Its really funny, coz the sign that says don’t know what sports council or something, and it pointed towards the ground. And Yanfang says, the sports council is underground. Haha..

Anyway, I asked her to teach me how to play piano again! Had been doing so, since JC, but always 3minute. Anyway, she says she is going to charge me, to teach me play piano. And the 3 minute me has switched from wanting to learn one song, to wanting to learn one level, and so, she say, the charges will be different. Wa lao..business lor..haha..Anyway, one day, when I have a real job, I’ll learn piano from her. I really really want to learn piano. Had been wanting to do so, since pri school. Haha..

Back to Singapore..

So, finally, we reached the indoors stadium, which I realized is actually near the outdoor stadium (Is there such a word?) Ya..And she wanted to buy something to eat, but the 7 eleven has a super long queue, so gave up. Haha..then we went upstairs to join another queue..The queue to go into the stadium. There’s this guy queuing up in front of us..I don’t know what’s wrong with him. I think it is like teen guys like to act cool..something like that..Then he tries to sit in a cool heck-care pose in every place possible. Omg.. Fang fang and I tot that was childish..Gosh~ Ya..we queue for a long time, and finally~ reached the doorstep of the stadium. Then the security guard had to check my bag. (Coz fang fang nv bring any bag.) and I was asked to take out my water bottle. And THAT, is the last time I see bottle-darling, coz yanfang asked me a sensible qn: “ still dare to drink the water inside meh?” And I tot, ya…what if somebody put something inside, while I was watching the show, so..abandoned it..

Our seat number is T01 21 10 and 11..Haha…Guess why I rmb it??? Coz fang fang asked me to rmb, coz she dun wana take out the tics again. But u noe mah..I have super lousy memory..I don’t rmb what happen before one..so I keep repeating and repeating, until I can memorise le..haha.. Anyway, from this paragraph onwards, u’ll get to see my memory of the superstar concert. EnjOy~ ^__^

From the place where I sit, I can see the idols alright, but they are just a figure..Cant see really clearly, their facial expressions, so it doesn’t matter if they no lian bu biao qing. Haha..Then, there’s this pole blocking in front, and I didn’t realize it’s a bother, until yanfang told me.. Before the show actually starts (It started at 7.30pm.), the super hosts were there to “train” the supporting actors and actress, who are unbelievably passionate, with a strong support for their idols..(serious leh!) And the hosts will scream (literally) the cheer, and the blueys and the reddys will each scream their idol’s cheer.. And its like..It felt like..Sports day in school. Haha.. Then the people really Obeyed and coordinated. (Wa..so serious.) Then at the toilet, heard a girl say she’ll sacrifice for her idol. Haha.. In comparison, those upper blocks had more calm-minded, rational people, pass the age, when they will scream and dance and do funny actions, when they see a star. Probably, we all understand, it is all a show, and this is entertainment business. But I would say that, the lighting effects, the stage designs, the costume designs, the hosts, the cheer hosts, the idols themselves, are incredibly professional, and I salute them, because, I guess one really has to have a cheery personality, to take up the job. Coz..just imagine quan yi feng and wang jian fu, they could have had a bad day, but up on the stage, they need to be happy, excited, and lead you into feeling excited, and especially their smile. Its so nice isn’t it?

Firstly, I’d like to apologise, that I lost abit of the notes I took on that day. Haha..so I’ll use my brain. The first category is the fast song, which is supposed to be rocky..And I think rocky means a bit cool cool, bad bad..I think that’s what the judges said. Oh ya..the judges all wear black, the Li Wei Song wore white, and sit in the middle. He’s my idol lor! And I like Xu huan liang oso. Don’t you think they are so coool~ Sorry…I always put my focus on non-core stuff. Haha.. Darren won the 1st round. He sang <你快乐就是我快乐>, which I think is nice, not bad. Diya sang . Seriously, I prefer Diya, because she communicates with the audience, and I seriously think she sang better. Yet, Darren won, because he emitted the star qi zhi, and he’s more rock. Then Diya lacked the rock factor when she sang the song.

The second category (don’t know if it is 2nd..forgot..haha..) is the Unplug. The unplug song according to judges, really tests the singer’s singing techniques and their harmonious match with the guitar or the piano. Xu Huan Liang says Unplug places importance on 声音的表情和表达的口气… Darren wore a white suit, while Diya wore a pink tube with black frills, and a white cute skirt, like a doll~ And the stage design is such that Darren and Diya sat opposite each other, and when they sing the song, its like they are singing it to each other, which I think is pretty cool~ Darren sang 《寂寞的季节》while Diya sang《纸飞机》…Diya won lor..coz her voice is really nice, its quite soothing and touching, as if telling a story. ^__^ And so, she won the round! Their he chang song is 《天天夜夜》, a too familiar song, coz I have a friend who keeps singing it. Haha.. And it is pretty cool, their harmony in voices combination makes it a wonderful piece.

Then during commercial break, I told fang fang about the movie I went to watch recently, Happy Birthday. And gosh~~~ I haven do a movie review on it. Darn..I have so many deadlines to meet. Haha..

Then they had a hip hop category. Darren wore a really stylish blue sportswear, while Diya wore green jacket with white pants, equally stylish as well. Darren sang 《谁抢走我的麦克风》, and it was shiok..coz he really know how to dance! Really hippy-hoppy..but the judges say, both of them need to have more hip-hop style. Coz he said, hip-hop is in the blood. Ha.. gosh~ so serious. Diya sang which is sexy too. So who won???? Its Diya! Coz her singing technique is nice I guess.. But I think Darren’s performance is great too. Oh ya..forgot to say, Diya and Darren had a close dance part in this hip-hop section, quite in style..coOl~ haha..

OK…THIS IS THE 1st Part, and who won????????????????
DruMssssssss rOOLLLLLLLL~ DIYA!!! Really very touched, coz she sang really well!! But her CD sales not as good as Darren’s. Darren’s is 60% while Diya is 40%..

And guess what??? They had a NTU(Not sure hah..) and NUS cheering part. NTU had cheerleaders for Diya, while NUS has taekwondo for Daren. I told Yanfang I shud join tae..and I made a HAH~ pose. But obviously, it has no power at all. Hahaha..

Oh ya..The idols take a break, and su you peng..NO no no…a Malaysian singer who looked like su you peng, according to fang fang came out, and sing his new song. He is the Malaysia Superstar (Chinese la!) and the song is “I’m on the way”, if I not wrong..
Immediately after him, a sexy girl came out, and sing a song, in Vietnamese, if I am not wrong. Anyway, due to culture differences, we are unable to accept and truly appreciate her performance. We do not know how to respond to her flying kiss. Haha..But do appreciate that she say our country is beautiful. Then Chen Wei Lian came out, and moved us with 《菊花台》…so we listened silently. Really nice lor, his singing. But I rmb hearing Liang Jing Ru sing live. I tell u, that one, that one, is calleedd super moving. Coz her voice super moving. But she didn’t come la..I just saying.. Hey if you all happen to watch 2nd telecast (if have), rmb to pay attention to the part in ju hua tai..你的影子剪不断…coz upon repeating duno how many times, there’s one time, when this is repeated, it made me melt.

The next category is JAZZ…Diya sang Dream a little Dream of me..while Daren sang Sway…Both songs are very jazzy..Darren wore a black suit with white collar and white hat..while Diya wore white suit. Daren coordinated with the dancers in floating white dresses, and Diya like her previous songs, are well-sang. And the judges said, since both of them sang the Jazz in a zhong gui zhong ju (standard) way, so, the one with less flaws shall be chosen. And Diya won this round again!

In their last song, you’ll get to know, that Daren, is a very..clever man. Coz..he is putting 101% in his last song, entitled 《靠近》..That is one song, I really enjoyed.. Really. It was touching, and real feelings and emos was presented. Diya on the other hand, sang nicely, but no climax. So, it was abit ke xi.. And I choose Daren to win this round. (I noe my say has no effect on results..haha..) Oh, and judges said Daren’s singing technique for slow song has improved.

So in the end who won? I didn’t finish watching, so I cant tell you what Gary did. But lucky ar! Lucky he didn’t sing superwoman, coz I’ll be soo..duno wad. Coz I love that song, I tell you. Anyway..WHO WON??????? From Princess Xinying’s, aka leo sister’s sms, Daren won!! DAREN~!!

So the thing is, superstar is not on singing techniques alone. You gotta be a call attractor, or you gotta find some way to get loads of calls, to win. Not as if the person who won has no talent. NO..thats not what I mean. Coz Daren is brilliant. But you gotta have many people to call for you, to win the competition. Ha..Just my nonsense..
