The Taiwan 2009 Best Selling albums of the year is out!!!
The below is the list of the Top 5 Best Selling albums according to their rankings.
1. 蔡依林/花蝴蝶
2. 飞轮海/越来越爱
3. 罗志祥/潮男正传
3. 王力宏/心跳
5. 梁静茹/静茹&情歌
Not typo okay. Both 罗志祥 and 王力宏 shares the third position together.
This year's ranking have also showed that the CDs sales have been decreasing.
This probably also reflects the changing consumer trends from cd sales to probably downloading online etc.
Warner Music has decided to pull out from next year's 台湾金曲奖. This means that the record company will not be sending nominations for any of its singers. Which means that you will not see Warner Music's singers in next years nomination list. As a result, 蔡依林, 方大同, 萧敬腾 and FIR who will soon release their new album will not be nominated next year. Warner Music says they did this so as to highlight the various problems that the authorities are having such as the categorizing of awards and judging issues and hopes that the situation could be improved. The other record companies says that they will not follow Warner Music and will continue to nominate their singers for the upcoming 台湾金曲奖.
Although Warner Music's singers will not be nominated, they say that if the singers are invited they will gladly allow their singers to attend as guest or performers of the evening.

Jupiter's Special
I guess everyone has taken a look at the Jupiter's Award nomination list ba.
There doesn't seem to be any huge protest regarding the nomination list. Haha.
But im sure some names you might not be familiar with ba. So this week's Jupiter's Special will be dedicated to featuring these productions that might be unfamiliar to you. You can get to see why they are nominated.
First up is this Korean Drama that won 6 nominations.
1 spot in 最佳男女配角 and 最佳男主角. 2 spots in 最佳女主角. And also nominated for the important 最佳电视剧.
Brief summary of the show from baidu.
1960年，学生运动的积极分子李基哲听到爱人的哥哥因自己而失去性命的消息后，在自责和矛盾下来到江原道一个偏僻的探矿。在那里李基哲为了阻止太白煤矿老板申泰焕的恶行，组织劳动工会与之对抗，不幸遭到申泰焕的毒手。亲眼目睹父亲死亡的李基哲的大儿子李东哲(宋承宪 饰)发誓要为父亲报仇。被申泰焕蹂躏的太白医院的护士美爱为了报仇把申泰焕新出生的孩子和李基哲的孩子调换，两个男人的开始了各自不同的命运。东旭从小从东哲那里听到基哲的故事，对自己的亲生父亲申泰焕恨之入骨，长大后以第一名的成绩考入首尔大学法律系。而被调换来到申家的明勋从小接受财团继承人的培训，东哲则远赴香港成为赌场里呼风唤雨的人物。
