This is Zhui Xing Entertainment News bringing to you the latest and hottest news in the entertainment industry.
Last week on e news, we brought to you the 1st hand results of the 21st 台湾金曲奖.
However, the results were quite controversial to some especially in the 最佳国语男歌手 category. Many felt that 林俊杰 was the rightful winner but 陶喆 ended up winning the award. One of 林俊杰's teacher 林秋离 was at the judging panel and he was suspected to favour 林俊杰 and even 拉票 for him. But when the results were out, he said that this proves that he did not 拉票 for him and the results make him regret that he did not 拉票 for him. He questions 陶喆 credibility for getting the award. He continues to reveal that during the initial rounds of judging 林俊杰 had received about 10 votes across the judging panel but in the ending rounds, his votes did not even amount up till 5 votes. This makes him feel that some big companies are controlling the results of the award. Wonder whether there is really such stuff happening behind the scenes but i wish the regardless of having any awards or not, 林俊杰 will continue to jiayou!!!
Rumor has it that 巩俐's 14 years of marriage to Singaporean husband is on the rocks. She was in Singapore recently to promote her new movie, Shanghai, and admitted that although her husband and his family has a place in Singapore, she usually stays in hotels when she is in Singapore. In response to her Singaporean citizenship which created much controversies and resulted in her being labeled a 'traitor' by her Chinese counterparts, he said that she obtained her Singaporean citizenship because of her family and it was something natural to her. And by her family she was referring to her husband’s and her in laws. Latest check on the Singapore Registry of Marriage shows that 巩俐 is still married to her husband. But there are still lots of speculations that the divorce proceedings is still ongoing.
Alright let's move on to the talk of the town.
权怡凤 had been involved in a case with a taxi driver.
The following report is taken from xinmsn.com,
"It all started when Yi Fong took a cab from her residence with her daughter and another male friend last Saturday (26 July) at noon. The host was on the way to Changi Airport to catch a flight to Mauritius for filming.
The driver of the cab, 52-year-old Mr. Tan, told reporters that Yi Fong had questioned his attitude when he refused to help Yi Fong carry her luggage onto the cab. Mr. Tan explained that as he was still recovering from an arm injury, he was unable to help her.
When Mr. Tan asked Yi Fong how to get to the airport, Yi Fong allegedly snapped at him, asking him, "Are you from Malaysia? How can you not know how to get to the airport?"
The conflict got physical when Mr. Tan did an emergency brake at a junction, which angered Yi Fong. Mr. Tan said that she accused him of braking on purpose and began hurling vulgarities at the cab driver.
After he stopped the car, Yi Fong immediately alighted and kicked him, even denting the door of the cab.
She then locked herself in the cab for 15 minutes after taking his car keys and thrashed everything in the cab, including the fare meter and stereo.
Yi Fong then left the scene with his car keys in another cab.
Yi Fong was still in Mauritius when the issue blew up. When contacted via overseas phone-call, the host denied Mr. Tan's allegations and gave a different account of what happened.
According to Yi Fong, she only kicked Mr. Tan and the cab door when he refused to let her leave the cab. After getting out of the cab, Yi Fong said that Mr. Tan had swung the cab door at her when she was trying to find the button to open the cab's boot, hitting her in the back and leg.
She also said that he had thrown her handphone on the ground, assaulted her and spewed vulgarities at her 11-year-old daughter.
Yi Fong rebutted Mr. Tan's claims that she had locked herself in the cab by saying that since she called the police at 8.40am and reached the airport at 9.02am, it was impossible for her to have spent 15 minutes locked in the cab."
权怡凤 has already engaged the lawyer to settle this case and she has urged the public not to be quick to judge this incident based on the character and past events
