手机新功能 可追踪任何手机用户

小心你的手机号码,会泄漏你的行踪!

风靡全球的iphone,前阵子推出一项免费应用软件“mobile track”,如果你想要追查某人的行踪,无论对方是不是iphone用户,只要输入对方的手机号码,他所处的地点就会马上显现在手机上。

换句话说,如果你想追查伴侣的行踪、父母想追踪孩子在哪里,甚至上司要追查下属,只要输入追查对象的手机号码就行了。

这个应用软件刚在不久前推出,消息一传出,立即引发议论和恐慌。许多人发现,原来任何人都可以掌握自己的行踪,觉得很没有安全感,隐私受到侵犯。

《联合晚报》读者黄诗婷(34岁,客户经理)在两个星期前买了一台iphone,无意间发现了这项免费应用软件。

“我输入好几个同事的手机号码,发现能准确搜寻到同事的所在地点。”

她说,前晚有朋友尝试下载这个应用软件,却发现已经找不到了。由于黄诗婷已经下载软件,所以依然可以继续在弹指间追查他人的行踪。


It sounds too scary to be true. Tracking down one's current location simply just by entering the phone number is one aspect of technology which I hope will never be realised. Anyone could have known your whereabouts, anytime anywhere and anyhow.

With this function, carrying a handphone is like getting a tracking device installed on yourself, for everyone to utilize. As far as this technology may be helpful in situations like kidnap and other runaway crimes, I don't think anyone would wish to be used on, under normal circumstances.

This may encourage people to be honest with their whereabouts but some things are better left unknown eh.

Yawn, I'm so bored at home. Let's see where my friends are enjoying themselves... *grabs iphone*
