手机新功能　可追踪任何手机用户

小心你的手机号码，会泄漏你的行踪！

风靡全球的iphone，前阵子推出一项免费应用软件“mobile track”，如果你想要追查某人的行踪，无论对方是不是iphone用户，只要输入对方的手机号码，他所处的地点就会马上显现在手机上。

换句话说，如果你想追查伴侣的行踪、父母想追踪孩子在哪里，甚至上司要追查下属，只要输入追查对象的手机号码就行了。

这个应用软件刚在不久前推出，消息一传出，立即引发议论和恐慌。许多人发现，原来任何人都可以掌握自己的行踪，觉得很没有安全感，隐私受到侵犯。

《联合晚报》读者黄诗婷（34岁，客户经理）在两个星期前买了一台iphone，无意间发现了这项免费应用软件。

“我输入好几个同事的手机号码，发现能准确搜寻到同事的所在地点。”

她说，前晚有朋友尝试下载这个应用软件，却发现已经找不到了。由于黄诗婷已经下载软件，所以依然可以继续在弹指间追查他人的行踪。


It sounds too scary to be true. Tracking down one's current location simply just by entering the phone number is one aspect of technology which I hope will never be realised. Anyone could have known your whereabouts, anytime anywhere and anyhow.

With this function, carrying a handphone is like getting a tracking device installed on yourself, for everyone to utilize. As far as this technology may be helpful in situations like kidnap and other runaway crimes, I don't think anyone would wish to be used on, under normal circumstances.

This may encourage people to be honest with their whereabouts but some things are better left unknown eh.
