Hey people, as announced last week, there will be no entertainment news this week. In fact, i think i will need to switch to studying mood soon. So, entertainment news will come back after my exams. My apoplogies. But fret not, Jupiter's Special will still be ongoing until the study week break.

But before we move on to the Jupiter's Special this week? I have something that i need to announce. The annual Jupiter Awards is back.
This year i am pushing the nomination period earlier so that you guys have more time to prepare and nominate.
This year i am adding two new awards which is 最佳电视/电影歌曲 and 最佳电视/电影原创音乐 respectively.
Let me explain further.
最佳电视/电影歌曲 refers to the best theme song regardless of whether 主题曲 or 插曲 in movies or drama series.
最佳电视/电影原创音乐 refers to the background music and 配乐 of that particular movie or drama.
Below is the rules and regulation.

Drama/Movie Category

All dramas and movies that are released in the year of 2009 can be nominated for these awards.
The Dramas and Movies nominated and be of any languages or any country of production.
To put in simply, you can vote for any drama or movies that are produced in Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, America or whatever country. As long as the production in released in the year 2009.
Actors and Actresses nominated could be of any nationality.
Please state the actor and actresses name when u are nominating and the show u want them to be nominated for.
Unclear nominations will not be taken into account.
Please also state the character they are playing if you wish or if the actor or actresses are not well known.
Please also state which award u wanna nominate them for.

最佳女主角
最佳男配角
最佳女配角
最佳电影
最佳剧集
最佳综艺节目
最佳综艺节目主持人
最佳新人（电影）
最佳新人（电视）
最佳电视/电影歌曲
最佳电视/电影原创音乐

Music Category
Nomination criteria are abit different under the music category.
In the music category, only mandarin music that are released in the year 2009 are eligible for these awards.
Please state the names of the singers and the album's name you want to nominate them for clearly.
State which awards you want them to nominate for.
Compilation albums (精选集) cannot be nominated for any of these awards but the new songs in these albums can be nominated for 年度十大金曲.
Unclear nominations will not be taken into account.

最佳男歌手
最佳女歌手
最佳专辑
最佳组合/团体
年度十大金曲
最佳新人

Jupiter's Special

I believe this is the first time im featuring this group's album ba.
Personally i think this group is quite unique and their music is not like the usual bands that you can find in the music industry. Today we will be featuring 苏打绿's latest album 《夏。狂热》. Besides 青峰's really unique voice, their bond with each other is also quite special. Listening to them chat during interviews and watching them bicker with each other will naturally bring a smile to your face.

Okay the first song got this rock feel to it.
But dunno how to say leh. Its rock but still very 苏打绿.
I guess their music very hard to categorize under whatever genre one ba. Its just them. Haha. Very nice melody to it. Makes you feel very light hearted.
This is 狂热.


This next song is so motivational.
The lyrics depicts a typical lifestyle of a working class and how this working class presents himself positively so that he overcome every challenges and obstacles ahead. If you are feeling stress whether through work or study, this song could give you some positivity that you need.
This is 他夏了夏天.


Wah this 嬉戏之后 is another happy song!!
I guess is to fit the summer theme ba. Haha.
The song is so cute la.

Wonder what message are they trying to convey by wearing black? I mean isn't summer suppose to be bright colours and all?
