This episode is also very special for me as it is the first time i am using my new Fujitsu Laptop to post a blog entry. Haha. This week we got quite a number of news to report so without further ado, let's get on with it.

范文芳 will be acting in a new Mediacorp drama called 《沸腾冰点》. Remember we reported here before that there was a role that was initially 芮恩's but due to many intimate scenes she rejected the role. The role was after that given to 范文芳. This drama happen to be the show we are talking about.
In this drama, 范文芳 acts as a successful women but she unfortunately inherited some mental disease from her family. During the press conference, 范文芳 admitted that she had depression twice in her lifetime. Once was 10 years ago when she was facing some contract disputes, the other one was recently when her boyfriend 李铭顺 was caught drink driving and had to be punished by the court. Though the situation was not that serious so that she need to take medicine, she said the feelings is unbearable and she will sometimes just cry uncontrollably. She also said it was much better the second time as she learnt how to relieve and loosen herself up after the first time round.
When asked about her wedding preparations with 李铭顺, 范文芳 said that she has already left everything to David Gan. Both 李铭顺 and 范文芳 surrendered after writing down the guest list.
I watched the preview for this show 《沸腾冰点》, and i think 范文芳's acting is quite impressive. Looking forward to this show.

Two more pieces of good news from Mediacorp.

李国煌's wife has successfully given birth to a healthy baby girl. Congratualations.
When asked about their daughther's name, 李国煌 said he initially thought of a few but it was all rejected as the names sounded weird.
Right now, they only got an English name for her. She will be named "Calista". They will give her a Chinese name after given advice from a fortune teller.

洪赐健 one of the young actors from 《小孩不笨》, has recently signed a contract with Mediacorp. He is now officially a Mediacorp artiste and he is right now, the youngest artiste in Mediacorp.
We look forward to more great performaces from this 19 year old. I believe he has lots of potential. We wish him best of luck.

Twins' 阿娇 has recently released a book and in this book there are lots of her own reflections regarding the Edison incident. Remember her "天真" line. Well, actually she didn't meant the act of taking all these photos but she meant that she didn't give her love to the right person. She was quite disappointed with Edison as he didn't step out to explain the whole thing and she had to be the first one to do so. However, she didn't really blame Edison over the whole thing since she loved him before and he has also paid a huge price after this whole thing.
She felt sorry toward 阿Sa though as her career was affected although she wasn't involved in this whole thing. Well, we like to wish 阿娇 all the best and hope this whole thing will go by soon.

While watching the very nice movie 《赤壁》 yesterday, we also get to see a sneak preview of two of the latest local production that will soon come to you the the theatres near you. 《钱不够用2》 and 《12莲花》. Both movies look very promising, hope can get a chance to see both movies.

《钱不够用2》 has a lot of sensitive issue but surprisingly, the authorities didn't cut any of the scenes in this movie. 梁智强 the director of this movie said that he felt that the authorities are very 大方 and he wants to thank them for that. Is it because the issue discussed are not sensitive enough so the authorities didn't cut any of their scene? 梁智强 said the audience will have to go in to the cinema to see for themselves.

Apparently, he heard that there are rumors that our very own 孙燕姿 will be acting in 《12莲花》. She might also be singing the theme song of this movie. Well although news are not really confirmed, i am still very excited. Haha. If it really if the case, then i will be looking forward to it.

Jupiter Special
Well, today is the last episode of the 新人 trilogy. And i am very sure a lot of people would have guessed correctly who i am going to intro this week. This person also came out from the really popluar talent search show, 超级星光大道 season 1. But this person didn't appear in this show as a contestant but as a PK contestant. He became famous overnight after successfully PKing the very strong 杨宗纬. Yup, he is Jam, 萧敬腾.

萧敬腾's first debut album 《萧敬腾 同名专辑》 is already out in stores now.
The first song i am going to intro is his first 主打 called 收藏.
This song is written by our local very well known musician 李伟菘. Its a song full of hope. Makes you feel very motivated after listening to it. In this music video, there is this very much talked about scene whereby the piano started burning. Well, personally, i think its quite nice cos that it the moment when the song reaches its climax. The scene brings excitement and surprise to the whole music video. Enjoy this song ba.


I super super love this next song.
Its a sad and emotional song. I love it so much.
This song 原谅我 is written by FIR's 阿沁. I really admire this guy alot lor. Besides playing the electric guitar so well, he also has the ability to write a lot a lot of great songs. And all of them are really hit and popular and nice songs. I love this song a lot as it is one of those few emotional songs sang by guys. Emotional in a very 细腻 way.
This music video is very nice also featuring the winner of Jupiter Awards 2007 最佳新人（电影） and one of Reiko's favorite actor, 张睿家. I must say he acted really well in this video. A nice song and a good actor, you are bound to love this music video.


Next up is a very rock and roll song. Called 王子的新衣.
Nice song full of attitude. I especially like it when he hit all those high notes and until there are like a bit of huskiness in his tone.
But this song is really difficult to sing i must say. I tried it before at home and my throat really hurts after that. Haha.


Next song is a rather cute and happy song.
You will feel very happy after listening to this song and will want to dance to the music. This song is called 疼爱. Enjoy!!!

Months ago, 萧敬腾 was here to perform for S-pop. And amongst all the 天王天后, he to almost everyone's surprise was the one who received the loudest scream. Let us refresh our memory with this video ba. He also sang one of his new songs 海芋恋. This song happens to be written by him also.


After the release of his debut album and much interaction with the media i think he is slowly getting used to it. His conversations and answers to questions has grown longer and i think he is more lively in shows now. Dun believe. This is 萧敬腾 on 康熙来了. Judge for urself ba. Oh and he got a new haircut. You can see in this video also. I love it. I think its really cute. I also wanna cut my hair like that leh. Haha.


I realized this 萧敬腾 is really a versatile singer.
Can sing alot of different genre of songs and sing all of them very well.
This guy really has potential.
