餐馆温水要$3.90白薇秀翻脸走人　侍应生鼓掌‘送客’

餐馆遭挑衅？白薇秀自爆前晚与洋男友用餐，遇刁难侍应生，愤怒转身走人时，工作人员竟集体鼓掌“送客”！

艺人树大招风？受捧“公主”白薇秀前晚在推特（Twitter）诉苦表示，当晚录完节目《女人俱乐部》后，与洋男友Bobby Tonelli到位于东陵坊（Tanglin Mall）的非洲烤鸡连锁餐馆Nando’s约会吃饭，本想度过浪漫二人世界，怎料却衰遇服务水平欠佳、态度差的侍应生和经理，大扫2人用餐兴致。

小俩口最后没用餐、愤怒转身走人时，餐馆工作人员更集体“起哄”，不约而同鼓掌“送客”，愤愤不平的白薇秀气得当晚推特发飙，据悉直至昨午Nando’s致电道歉，“公主”才稍微气消！

她随后在推特上叙述事发过程，更指名当晚值班的餐馆经理Shah。

白薇秀表示，向侍应生要杯热开水时，侍应生却说，餐馆一向不免费提供热开水。

根据她的说法，该餐馆经理随后却表示，一杯热开水的收费是3元9角。只是，餐单上标明，每瓶矿泉水要价1元8角，3元9角则是一杯热茶的收费。

同样是开水，收费却差越一倍，让她很不解。

That's truly mass bullying from the staff haha. Poor thing.

The $3.90 for a hot glass of water is still ok I guess. After all I've already 'blacklisted' Nandos for not serving free ice water. But its available choice of chilli sauces is a saving grace. For a restaurant which serves mainly chilli-added dishes, such charge is a good way to earn more money from unsuspecting patrons, especially those who usually don't bring their own water.

However I think the clapping is too much. What has Joanne done to make everyone want her to leave so much? The thrill/achievement in chasing a celebrity away? Maybe not so simple.

Anyway this whole incident sounds a little fishy, with information provided from only the victim's side. There is no smoke without fire. Probably Joanne made some unreasonable requests first, or, a little request that was blown out of proportion by a staff who knew her (or hated her).

Staff (to colleagues): "Psst...you know that TV actress over there hor..."
Then the comment made the entire restaurant staff turn against her.

Are celebrities more vulnerable to such poor treatment or hatred?

Whatever the case, whenever we dine at a restaurant, we are also at the mercy of the restaurant staff, as well as the 'invisible' chefs who prepare our food.
