姐妹花庆生 恶客来砸场踢翻美食
姐妹花组屋楼下庆生，竟有恶客砸场，踢翻刚摆上桌的自助餐美食，搞到场面一片狼藉，气得寿星的父母拦下肇事男子报警。
昨晚，一对姐妹提早一起庆祝12岁和16岁生日；生日派对设在宏茂桥10道第546座组屋旁的空地，有烧烤和自助餐晚餐。
寿星的母亲李女士（42岁，旅游业者）说，自助餐在傍晚6时15分送到，摆在长桌上。“我们在一旁为烧烤炉起火，突然听到‘砰砰’声响，转头看到有男子把一桌的食物踢翻后，快步离开。”
她说，丈夫怒追男子，将他拦住，当场报警。自助餐供应商的两名工作人员、丈夫和她4人当时包围男子，不让他离开。
记者到场时，见派对场地一片狼藉，自助餐的铁盘铁架，还有食物，都倒翻在地，有咖喱鸡、炸鱼片、青菜、春卷、炒面和炒饭等。
李女士形容，恶客40来岁，身材高瘦、穿黑色T恤、米色短裤和运动鞋。据了解，他住在附近组屋，目前无业，被质问时透露因“心情烦躁”，才砸场发泄。
李女士怒言：“太过分了！我们不认识他，竟搞砸我们的派对。孩子的朋友到场，都吓坏了，我的两个女儿也心灵受创。你叫我脸往哪里放？”
朋友没吃就回了，让寿星姐妹尴尬。

Really an unlucky situation. Nothing much can be done to avoid this, especially when strangers can enter the area freely. I think the family would prefer food to be stolen by some cheapskate rather than this.
What's more the guests had not started eating yet. Ultimate wastage.
According to a source, the man who destroyed the buffet couldn't give a concrete reason for his act. He just felt very angry when he saw the spread, because he only had instant noodles for breakfast. That's indeed a classic sour-grape, destructive behaviour. "If I can't have it, no one should have it too."
I think these people are much more scarier than thieves. They don't do things for their own benefit, but instead make sure that no one (including himself) gets the benefit at all. It's a like a burglar who doesn't rob your house, but burns it.
These kind of people are probably rare, but we should be wary of such twisted people nevertheless, though it's quite difficult to prevent similar incidents.
RIP buffet...
