The Sentosa IR is finally opening and to mark its opening out very own 孙燕姿 will be the first singer to perform at its Compass Ballroom. This Compass Ballroom can hold an audience of up to 7300 audiences. The Sentosa Resort World will be opening up seats for 4500 audience for this concert. Date of the concert is 16th Feb which is the 3rd day of Chinese New Year at 8pm. Please get ur tickets from sistic now. Tickets are priced at $88, $118, $148 and $198.

Its really the awards season.

Alright as stated last week, today we will introduce to you the 10 movies that are nominated for the Oscars Award Best Movie.
So without further ado, lets move on!!!

First movie is also a hot favourite for this award.
The movie that everyone is talking about.
Winner of this year's Golden Globe Best Movie!!! Will it go on to win the Oscars?
This is Avatar!!! The movie the yield a box office so high that now 1 out of every 5 Singaporean has watched the movie.


This next movie is an inspiring one called "The Blind Side".
And its based on a true story.
I watched the trailer i also a bit touched le. So power lor.
Plus got Sandra Bullock in this movie. OMG i love her.
She is also nominated for the Best Actress for this role.


Next up is District 9.
Here is the movie description from wikipedia.
"District 9 is a 2009 science fiction thriller film directed by Neill Blomkamp. It was written by Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell; and produced by Peter Jackson. The film stars Sharlto Copley, Jason Cope and David James. Not really my type of movie but well it is nominated for some reasons. Haha.


Okay Miss Reiko is so going to love this movie.
Cos very Parisy. Haha. Is there such a word?
Its also about dreams and the music is so nice!!!
Feel like watching it too. Haha.
An Education. Hope u like it!!!


Is military type of movie ur cup of tea?
If yes, you sure like this movie.
The Hurt Locker.
You can get a better idea of what a bomb squad does. Wah i see them like that like very stressful. Haha. Playing with ur life like that.


Next up is Inglorious Bastards.
I actually watched this movie before. Haha.
But i dun recommend you to watch it if you cant take bloody and violent scenes. You must also be open to some of the black comedy there. Haha.
But shuai ge Brad Pitt really different in the show. Wah he like change his accent la. So funny lor, wanna laugh. But not becoz he nv act well. Is his accent really sounds like those olden day cowboys. Haha. U all listen and see lor.


Next up is another inspirational story.
Movie title is called Precious.
Story about a fat black girl.
Plot from wiki:

Story about a very stress man trying to find balance in life.
A Serious Man.
Wah i see this trailer i also feel stress for him lor. Haha.


Next up is a movie that is suitable for the young and old.
Winner of Jupiter Awards 2009 Best Movie.
Will it win the Oscars?
This is Up!!!


Last but not last is Up in the Air starring George Clooney.
Wah this George Clooney so old liao but still shuai lor. Haha.
