1942年10月10日，汪伪政府举办庆祝国民政府成立三十周年的盛大仪式，一名汪伪政府的要员被枪杀，引起了日本方面的高度重视。日军特务课机关长武田怀疑这一系列暗杀行动是北平地区共产党领导人“老裘”策划的，希望抓住这次机会破获他的组织。

This movie is also the winner of this year's Oscar Best Foreign Film Award.

Daigo Kobayashi (Masahiro Motoki), a cellist in an orchestra in Tokyo, loses his job because of the dissolution of the orchestra. After quitting as a professional cellist he decides to sell his cello (which he had recently purchased for 18 million yen) and also to move back to his old hometown, Sakata, Yamagata, with his wife. One day he finds a classified advertisement for "Assisting departures" for an "NK Agency". He goes to the job interview thinking it is for a job at a travel agency but discovers that NK is an abbreviation for "encoffinment" (納棺, nōkan?) and that he is instead to assist the "departed" by ceremonially preparing the dead in front of mourners before their bodies are placed in the coffin. The interviewer, the President of the NK Agency, immediately decides to hire Daigo after confirming that he is able to work hard. The salary is 500,000 yen per month with an additional 20,000 yen bonus for the interview. With no other job prospects, Daigo decides to accept the offer. However, when he comes home to his wife he finds himself unable to admit the type of work he will be doing so he dissembles, saying that he is to be employed in the 'ceremonial occasions industry', which his wife misunderstands as a wedding company.

The Ugly Truth a romantic comedy that might make u understand the opposite sex better.
Next up is another romantic comedy. The Proposal by Sandra Bullock.

Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company, Golden Books. All of her workers, including her assistant Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds), strongly dislike her for her bossy, cold demeanor. She fires a senior editor, Bob Spaulding (Aasif Mandvi) because he is unable to get an author named Frank interviewed by Oprah. After learning she is being deported to Canada, she forces Andrew to marry her, as his future is tied to hers. When the government investigates, Mr. Gilbertson (Denis O'Hare) informs them that they will undergo rigorous testing to prove that the marriage is not fraudulent, after being notified by Bob Spaulding that this marriage might be a sham. Andrew grudgingly accepts the proposition of marrying Margaret, under the condition that he is promoted to the position of editor and his manuscript be published. He also forces Margaret to propose nicely to him on her knees in the streets of New York, and to allow him to tell his parents they are getting married.

I got a feeling u guys dun really like this kinda movie one. But just take a look ba.

I dunno if this movie is already up for rental.
We wanted to see this movie too during Junrong's bdae but Time Traveller's Wife received more votes that time. Maybe its time to watch it now.
