Basic Survey Etiquette

Because of my module requirements, i have to do a survey on the topic and i was actually quite shocked or rather pissed with some of the qualities of the survey answers that came back to me.

My survey is directed at university students and you would think that they would at least know how to do the survey properly write? Wrong.
You would think that because at some point of time they will also have to do survey so they are more willing to help others do survey properly. Wrong again.
You would think that they acquire some form of basic knowledge of English to look at the instructions and do the survey accordingly. Wrong wrong wrong.

I have incomplete surveys coming back to me.
I have people who never read instructions properly and write nonsense.
I have people who select the same option for every single damn thing in the survey. (Like everything they answer 3 that kinda thing)
And these pieces of surveys actually came from those people that i think will bother to do the survey properly for me.
Even if a stranger ask me to do a survey i won't submit this kinda standard lor.

Thanks to these people. I have wasted paper and effort trying to make sure that the survey reaches them and comes back to me. I totally can't make use of the surveys that are returned back to me. You have effectively turned a survey questionaire into trash.
Now i need to print more surveys and ask more people to do so i can meet my number. Thanks.

Okay first of all. I noe it is troublesome asking open ended questions. But im not trying asking u to write an essay here. A simple comment would be fine for me. Well these people just leave it blank when it is not even stated that it is an optional question. Oh i got one classic one. When asked to suggest ways to improve, this person just wrote "No". I mean like hello, it is not even a yes or no question lor.

Not listening to the instruction. Another classic example will be this person when ask to RANK the following, go and RATE them. Please la, uni student dunno what is the difference between ranking and rating meh. Really 傻眼. And i will accept it if my question is flawed. But i gave out to so many people, how come only this person like that leh. Obviously is that person's problem right?

Thirdly, writing the same option for everything in the survey.
It goes to show that these people just can't be bothered.
Don't even have basic respect lor.
I rather you not do the survey than ruining it.

Don't this people know there things like karma out there.
I wonder what your expression will be next time when you do your FYP and this is the standard of survey you get.

Actually these kinda small things says a lot of the attitude and personality of the person doing the survey. I mean if the first impression u wanna give people if that you are a person who lacks basic respect for people, who is selfish (can only be bothered with doing ur own stuff) and just can't be bothered, i applaud you for your actions cause you have indeed been successful. Oh maybe a standing ovation is what you deserve.

P.S:~ These people's attitude simply just sucks.
