Mediacorp artiste 芮恩 has changed her name back to her 本名 "瑞恩". She said it was the companies decision to change her name to 芮恩when she released her first album. She said it was as if she was forced to wear an unsuitable jacket. Now that the unsuitable jacket is taken of, she felt more comfortable and more like herself. Her 2nd album 《共和国》 is out now. In this new album 瑞恩 has written 8 of the lyrics. Those interested should go support this album.

I guess everyone has been tuning in to the new drama series on channel 8 《小娘惹》 and many expressed curiousity over the theme song 《如燕》's singer. She is none other than local singer Olivia 王俪婷. Olivia is better known for her bossanova and Jazz music. She started out in a group called "Mirai" and when this group split up she continue to stay in Japan to develop her singing career. To meet the Japanese demand, she started singing "kawaii" songs, it was only after she sang bossanova music that she shake off the "kawaii" song image and became popular.
Olivia has recently joined HIM record company. Which means she is now the 师妹 of 飞轮海, 林宥嘉 and SHE. So we can expect her to come out with a Chinese album soon.
She said she met 吴尊 and 林宥嘉 before and said that they are both very friendly.
When asked who she thinks is more shuai, she hesitated and said that 吴尊 is very gentleman and 林宥嘉 is very cheerful. She obviously dun wanna 得罪 any one of her 师兄. Haha.

蔡依林 has recently confirmed that she will be leaving EMI record company to join Warner Music. Many believed that her good relationship with Warner Music CEO 陈泽杉 is the reason of her crossing over. Jolin went to to say that her new album is expected to release on next year's Chinese New Year period. Im sure her fans have been waiting for a very long time and is very looking forward to it. Christmas is coming and 蔡依林 says her 2 Christmas Wishes for the year is that everyone will like her new album and to have a boyfriend soon.

Today, after a long break, we will be featuring 杨丞琳's new album 《半熟宣言》.
Basically, 半熟 means the stage between being a girl and being a women which is what 杨丞琳 is experiencing now. This time round she did a lot of changes in terms of her style and her singing techniques so lets take a closer look at this album.

This first song is called 带我走.
Very sad and emotional song. I guess this song is very hard to sing also, cos got alot of high notes. But i think 杨丞琳 handle this song quite well.
Although a lot of people think she like cannot make it and like listen she sing until very 吃力. But i think she did fine. Heard her sing this song live on 百分百 before, quite okay, she handled quite well. So i guess 杨丞琳's singing has indeed improve. Haha.

This is one of the theme song for a drama that 杨丞琳 is acting in. 不良笑花. A very funny show. Strongly recommended by Reiko and me. 杨丞琳 acts as this girl who speaks in 台湾国语 accent. Everytime she speaks makes me wanna laugh. Haha.
This show is gonna start on Channel U starting this coming Monday at 7pm.
