This week two record companies have announced their merger. Singapore's Hype Records and Hong Kong based 英皇 has announced their merger. This is to expand both companies in order to cope with the financial crisis and the declining music industry. Both companies believe that 英皇's strength in artiste packaging and promotion and Hype's strength in music production will complement each other.

Of cos, because of the merger, Hype record's 林俊杰 and 英皇's 阿Sa got to work together on a new song called 《小酒窝》 which u would have already have heard on this blog as Mango has posted the canto version as the blog song. When talking about the collaboration with 阿Sa, 林俊杰 says he is happy working with her as they can get along well with each other. On a variety show in Taiwan, 林俊杰 accidentally exposed his new relationship. He said she is an actress and there are rumors that 《小酒窝》 is written for this girl as a confession. Many guess that the actress is 曾恺玹.

Local singer 黄靖伦 has signed a contract with artiste agency 天熹经纪. With the signing of this contract, he will be the 师弟 of 蔡依林 and 罗志祥. 黄靖伦 will also be the first contestant in 星光3 to have his album released. In preparation of this album, 黄靖伦 has been busy trying to lose weight. We wish him the best of luck and hope that his album could be released soon.

Another local singer 潘嘉丽 will be releasing her new album soon. This time round, she cut her hair short and dyed it purple. Because of this new hairstyle said that she looks like 孙燕姿, some even said she copied her. 潘嘉丽 said she didn't copy 孙燕姿 but she didn't mind people saying that they look alike as 孙燕姿 is her idol. Having been in the showbiz for sometime, 潘嘉丽 admitted that for these past few years, her salary has almost been zero and her savings is almost used up. She hopes the new album will achieve good sales and that she will be able to earn some money from it.

Jupiter's Special
Today on Jupiter's Special we will be featuring one of the most successful girl bands in the mandarain pop industry. Yup, they are SHE!!!!
This time round their album is called "FM SHE" and because of this they also set up a online radio station and became the DJs of the station.
