MangO trying to bluff she knows art~

Hi.. I'm really afraid editor Jupiter will nag at me tomorrow. So here's my Mango column update.. haha. I'm really running out of ideas. Cos last time xing guang dun need to think, juz post videos and write what I feel. Really take my hats off Jupiter and Reiko.. how they can keep thinking of new ideas one.

Anyway, this week I'm going to shock u guys. By doing a boring arts entry. But I choose to focus on the category of 2-D art, which is painting and drawing. 我觉得我的鉴赏艺术的水平是蛮低的，可是我很喜欢看图，看画。因为文字看久了会腻，可是对我来说，图画很有趣。每个人看画都会产生不同的感觉，也会有不同的解读。所以我觉得很有趣。(haha.. also because I got no ideas this week). 看画很容易，要讲一幅画到底说的是什么却又很难 (cos I oso never study art before)。So I juz introduce the art works which I really like, and leave the interpretation to you guys.

对我来说，这位是伟大的艺术家。他的作品看似通俗，可是并不容易明白。如果你认为他的作品是给小孩看的，你就错了。他其实是写成人绘本的。对了。他是我永远最喜欢的绘本作家，几米。想必你们都知道《向左走，向右走》吧。我觉得电影是拍得不错，可是真正的精髓藏在绘本里面。

我刚开始认识几米的时候不是因为《向左走》，应该是《布瓜世界》。当时看哥哥在读，我就说他这么大了还看 cartoon. 可是我却被图画深深吸引，后来变为深爱的境界。看似简单的图画，简单的文字，却表达了那么深刻复杂的感情，说的是都市男女的心声或更大的命题。认识我的人都知道我超爱他，到了痴迷的境界。:)

P.S. 他又出新书了。可是他的书不便宜。我一定要存钱买！

《月亮忘记了》- 小小的月亮却能温暖千千万万人的心。

可爱吧？单纯的表情，让我想脱离尔虞我诈的成人世界。

This was my desktop wallpaper in the past. Gives me a calm and peaceful feel.

I enjoy reading his books. I hope after this introduction, u will be interested to read his works and enjoy the simplicity in life too.

Next is this really famous painting. Whenever we mention Leonardo Da Vinci, we will think of this work. Yes. It's her. The well-known Mona Lisa, also known as La Gioconda.

Hmm.. I still dunno why it is so famous. Maybe it's because it's really a delicate piece cos the lady seems to be elegant and the features are so defined. Her gentle smile also attracts people to her?

Found this really funny photo online. It's my favourite Mr bean. It's funny but seems to be a disrespect to the great artist. But it certainly makes me laugh!

Next is Vincent van Gogh. 他真的是位传奇人物。He was really talented but also suffered from mental illness. He cut off part of his left ear following a breakdown in his friendship with Paul Gauguin. After this he suffered recurrent bouts of mental illness, which led to his suicide. Some said he likes to use Yellow and the halo effects in his paintings was due to the side-effects from the alcohol he drank. I really admire his works and do not really care about whether he is insane or not.

P.S. Page One got sell calender with this piece of artwork as the cover. Really nice.

The painting depicts the view outside his sanitarium room window at night, although it was painted from memory during the day.

Last but not least, - Jean Francois Millet

I get to know about this art piece in lecture. My lecturer told me he went to see this painting in taipei's art exhibition. This is also a well-known piece. I like this cos it gives me peace and serenity.

But interesting thing is that it has 2 interpretation so far.

这是在法国的农村乡下。一对夫妻耕种完后祈祷以答谢上天。给人安详的感觉。

可是。。

Salvader Dali (a fan of Millet) said: 这是感伤的一幅画。地下埋葬了夫妻俩的孩子（有个小棺材）。试想身为父母的他们亲手埋葬自己的小孩，是多么的哀痛。也刻画了农村社会人们的贫穷，不能让孩子饱食3餐。
