台湾金曲奖 was held last week and here are the result of the important awards.

最佳国语专辑奖：拉活…莫文蔚

最佳作词人奖：方文山／青花瓷《我很忙》

最佳编曲人奖：小安／特务J《特务J专辑》

最佳专辑制作人奖：蔡健雅／Goodbye & Hello

最佳单曲制作人奖：阿弟仔／特务J《特务J专辑》

最佳演唱组合奖：大嘴巴／大嘴巴同名专辑

最具潜力新人奖：萧贺硕／硕一硕的流浪地图

We would like to congratulate all the award winners and hope that they will bring us more good music in the following year.

周杰伦 is the biggest winner of the night. Winning up to 5 awards.
Though 蔡健雅 only win 2 awards that night, she was considered one of the biggest winner too as both awards are important awards including 最佳国语女歌手奖 and 最佳专辑制作人奖. This is the second time that 蔡健雅 won the award for 最佳国语女歌手奖. "Goodbye & Hello" was also the first album whereby she was the producer and she got the 最佳专辑制作人奖 just for her first attempt as a producer which is really commendable. She said she was quite worried about her role as a producer at first but this award gave her much confidence.
孙燕姿 and 蔡淳佳, both Singaporean singers said that they were very happy for 蔡健雅.
孙燕姿 who was nominated for 5 awards said that she was feeling quite okay and relaxed though she didn't win anything.
蔡淳佳 said that her heart almost stopped when 蔡依林 who was the award presenter for 最佳国语女歌手奖 said that the winner has the same surname as she did.

On the 8th of August, FIR will be here for their concert held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
They were also recently in town to do promotion for their concert.
There were rumors that the music are getting more and more lousy as their album sales have been dropping. Their first album did really well in terms of sales but the next 3 albums just can't exceed the sales of the first album. In respond to that, FIR said that their different albums has its different style of music so it cannot be compared to one another. Furthermore, music is not the only contributing factors to the album sales, there are also other stuff like promotion and marketing strategies to consider.
Personally, i think FIR's music has always been quite good all the while. If not they wouldn't have won the 最佳组合/乐团 in last year's Jupiter Award.
For the upcoming concert, FIR says that they will be doing some unplugged stuff and Faye also be doing some traditional dance. The guest of the night will be 萧敬腾. 萧敬腾 will be singing together with FIR that night. FIR says they will psycho 萧敬腾 to talk more during the concert.

I wonder if u have watched 萧敬腾's 《收藏》 music video.
There is this part where they burn the piano. Many people felt that it is quite disrespectful to music. Besides that, this music video is filmed in an government protected area. The burning of piano has caused pollution in this government protected area.
The record company stepped out to say that this is not 萧敬腾's fault as he did not plan the whole music video and burning the piano is not his idea. But he will comply with the rules and go to the police station for investigation if needed.
If found guilty the music video production crew could be fined up to $250,000 in Taiwan currency.

The verdict is out!!!
This year's Official NDP Song will be sang by Asian Idol, Hady Mirza.
Hady will be singing the English version.
The Chinese version will be sang by 蔡淳佳.
I personally like this song alot. Very soothing and 温馨. Touching. Makes me feel like crying!!!!

I personally like the Chinese Version better.
More well sang and the lyrics is more poetic.
I really hope 蔡淳佳 gets to perform this song that night. Cos i got a feeling that maybe they will use the English version. If she didn't get to perform i will feel so 可惜 for her cos the Chinese version is so damn nice.

Jupiter Special
As you know if you have seen last week's episode, you would have known that for a period of 3 weeks, we will be featuring songs from the album of 新人.

She is the second runner up for 2006 超级女声 a very popular talent search in Mainland China. She is 刘力扬. With a really good record company supporting her, her great voice and her 中性 image, 刘力扬 really does stands out amongst many 新人.

I was listening to 933 one fine day when i heard one of the DJs talking about her. He said that 刘力扬 reminds him of 孙燕姿 in her first album. When i thought of it over my mind, there really is something similar in both of them that attracts people and make them stand out.
And if you look at her close up, i think she is actually quite pretty. What do you think?

I love this song alot. 我就是这样. A song with attitude, spunk and shows lots of her personality. In this music video, you can also see her 师兄 Tank and 动力火车.

I love this next song a lot too. Nice melody, very 琅琅上口 and 刘力扬 sang really well. So besides those song with attitude, she can also sing all this kind of emotional song. And after watching this music video, i realize something, this girl can act lar. She acts really well in the music video. Applause for her. You can also catch 飞轮海's 汪东城 in this video. Enjoy!!!

Nice and lovely song and it happens to be our favourite show's theme song. 太王四神记.
There are also some scenes of the show in this music video.
The song is really suitable to be part of 太王四神记. Fits perfectly.
And i didn't notice when i went to KBox the other time. 林宥嘉 is really shuai in this music video lar. Dunno whether u guys agree with me.
