超级星光大道 Season 3 has recently announced the top 5 name list, i guess u guys who have been tuning in to Mango's weekly update on the show, you would have known who is the top 5 name list.
But we are just very happy to say that our very own homegrown 黄靖伦 has made it to the Top 5. Congratulations. Hope he will jiayou and move on to the finals. Being popular nowadays, 黄靖伦 says he will only wear a cap when he goes outdoor.
黄靖伦 is recently back in Singapore to do his reservist here. He said he is willing to come back for reservist just that he is afraid that he will not have enough time to practice his singing. He say he will grab hold of every single opportunity and free time he has during training to practice his song.

We have 2 pieces of good news!!!
2009 will be a year where there will be a lot of marriages in Mediacorp. After 范文芳 and 李铭顺 has announced that they are getting married. The 2 couples also announced that they are spending the rest of their lives together.

First up, its our variety host 钟琴 and her boyfriend of 16 years. It comes a shock to many when they announced they are getting married cos 钟琴 has revealed in lots of interviews that she is a "不婚主义者". So a lot of people are curious as to why the sudden change. 钟琴 says her parents are getting old, they want to give them a 交待. She do not want a really big wedding, it will be a simple wedding and if possible, she would gather have a small gathering at home and invite all her boyfriends' and her own family members.
After marriage, she say life will regain back to normal and she will continue working. She adds on saying that she would not want to have any children as she don't want a child to come to this world and suffer with them plus she is already of some age so quite difficult to have children also.

The second couple is 谢韵仪 and 陈泓宇. Their wedding date will be around next year. And both of their ideal wedding will be at the beach. When asked how many children they want, 陈泓宇 said he wants 4 while 谢韵仪 says she only wants 2. Guess we shall wait and see how many children they end up having lo. Haha.

We congratulate this two couples again!!! Wish them all the best.

In what ways is 棒棒堂 better than 飞轮海?
The answer by 棒棒堂 when they will asked this question is really unexpectable.
They say in average, they are shorter than 飞轮海 and their height difference is also closer to the fans so they will breathe the same air as the fans. Haha.
棒棒堂 as you know was previously in town for promotion of their concert DvD and their variety show that is showing on Channel V.
Recently 蔡旻佑 wrote in his blog saying that 棒棒堂 lip sync aka 对嘴 during their concert. But after proven, it was not so, he apologize immediately in his blog. When asked whether they will be 尴尬 when they see 蔡旻佑 again, they say it will not cos any 尴尬 as he is still very active and fun loving when he went to their show. They add on saying that everyone has different views and even they themselves will have some thoughts and give some comments when they see others perform.

If you ever step into Yunan in the future, please go and catch this show. If you never catch 《云南映像》, you have never been to Yunan. Its quite affordable also. Around $20 Singapore dollars and watch this really amazing show le. Today we will be featuring 《云南映像》 on Jupiter's Special.

Alright first, let us have a overall view of what this show is about. You will most like understand the genre and the type of performance by watching this video.
And mind you, some of the dance move are like damn difficult lar. My gosh.

Of cos there are a lot of amazing performance but today i am going to introduce u all to the 2 performances that impresses me the most. In these 2 videos, the performances are by the very famous 杨丽萍, she is also the director of this whole performance. But too bad, when i was there, it was another person who performed. The tour guide says she will only perform when there are VIPs. But both dancer i watched was equally good.

The first performance is the Moon Dance.
Its presented by shadows, very difficult. Her body is like so flexible lor. How can anyone do those moves? And look at her body curves, my gosh, so beautiful lar the performance. When i was watching the performance, my jaws literally dropped lor, how can anyone danced like that? Amazing and Unbelievable.


Next up, is the finale show, the Peacock dance.
Also by 杨丽萍. She is really a great dancer.
This peacock dance is so beautiful. Her hands gesture really resembles that of a peacock's head especially the movements.
The dress is also very beautiful. Especially when she twist and turn, absolutely stunning.


Guess how old is 杨丽萍?
She is already 50 years of age. Can you believe it?
Her body and face can easily resemble that of a 20 something person. 岁月不在她的脸上留下痕迹!!!!
I heard from the tour guide that she sacrifice a lot for dancing. Even her love life and even to the extent of not having children. Really professional. Salute to her!!!
