1st stop, we headed down to 大理古城 to do some shopping.
The place is really pretty.
Once again, it really feels that i am part of a 古装 show (you know those kind where they roam around the cities and those 古装 loves buying 冰糖葫芦 that kind). Accept that the people here all not wearing 古装. Haha.

Walking around 大理古城 and doing some shopping lightens up my mood a little. The things here are also very pretty.
大理 is a place where 白族 people live. 白族 is a minority group in China, sort of similar to Taiwan's 原主民 that kind.
After 大理古城 we went to a traditional 白族 housing to learn more about their lifestyle.
This wall is very special right. Its got its usage too u know. It is used to reflect the very strong sunlight (Yunan's sunlight is really strong, the UV rays are especially here to do their high altitude). It is also used to block wind!!! Amazing right?
We also watch some dance performances here, view their wedding processes and take a sip at their tea.
Next venue is 天龙洞.
Let me do an introduction 1st on this place. This place is really from a 古装 show. Heard of 天龙八部? Well, this show is being filmed here.
Really pretty place. But u must be fit to finish the whole journey. The walking and climbing of stairs can be quite tiring for those with weak legs.

The view is spectacular.
After that, we traveled 4 hours on bus to another city, 丽江 and checked into the hotel that i think is the best out of all the hotels we went to.
实力大酒店. Good service and their breakfast buffet is great!!!!
Thoughts and Reflections:
You know, in such a remote place like Yunan, i am quite amazed to hear Singaporean singer's song. I heard 林俊杰, 孙燕姿 and even 郭美美's song.
When the restaurant served us Sprit, 林俊杰's picture is printed on it wor. We must be really proud of our singers, really. Even these people in remote Yunan are giving them support, we Singaporean should all the more support our own singers.
Haiz. Dunno why. I just feel very lonely down here.
Every single one of them is having fun and playing happily but 我就是开心不起来.
Yes, the place is very nice, food is okay. The local attractions are great too. But i guess i just came here with the wrong people.
So lonely. Unbearable.
Decided to stay quiet today but not to the extent that people will think that there is sometime wrong with me. I guess that is one of the things that i will have to deal with being single. It actually reminded me of one episode in "Sex and The City". The single versus the attached/married.
Should i still hold my head up and be proud of my singlehood while all others around me are attached?
Arrgh can't stand this.
