Using real-life experiences and own judgement, do you think true friends should accommodate character flaws, or should openly raise the problem out so that the other party can change for the better?

Flaws in a person is inevitable, coz we are not sages ma. Hmm..who dun have flaws. When a flaw in a person meets another flaw in a person, poo.. and it became unhappiness.
Tolerance is a precious value in the face of a person's flaw. But sometimes, people are not always in their best mood to accomodate flaw leh. (that itself is a flaw too..) Thus when we realise our flaw is affecting the other person in unexpected ways, we shud control our flaw for the time being.

As a fren, I think we should accomodate flaws of others.
As a fren, we shud take care of our own flaws so that it will not affect people.

This is ideally, what a fren shud be like.

As a fren, one shud give advices, when they realise that the fren is doing things in the wrong way. But when the person cannot tolerate or cannot take in what you are expressing, you shud not continue to ask him, coz its going to lead to quarrels in the long run.

Friends should bring happiness to each other, and bring out the best in each other.

Talking about real life experiences..

Like for me, I wasnt able to, and I didnt want to go to this coming Kbox. I have my own personal reasons for this. It isnt only becoz of money. (Yes..) As much as I am being labelled as a Steel Cat. So I am asked repeatedly if I really dun wana go. And the ans is e same. When this happens, thus this topic itself is closed.

And when I cant help it but accompany my mom to e dinner. And asked repeatedly if can cancel and to no avail. Then this topic itself is closed too. And a fren shud accomodate responsibilities and constraints of a fren.

But all these is ideally. So maybe frens have a limit to what they can tolerate too. Like I have a limit to what I can tolerate. And we have diff amount of tolerance for diff kinds of things. And I didnt think of it this way last Sat..

Oh bother..
FRENS..shud rmb the story of the beach story. What ever written above all crap..all boils down to one super simple theory of frenship. I am sure you have heard of this story..

Once upon a time, a person got hurt by a fren. He wrote the thing on the beach. The narrator ask: "Ho ho..why u write on the beach?" The person reply: "Aiya..write on beach, then when the water whooosh over, I will forget abt the thing ma.." Narrator: "Orhz....Chim leh u.."

I duno la.. It all depends on timing oso.. when we r ready to forget and forgive wadeva flaw pricks that have accidentally hurt each other.
