To celebrate Taiwanese girl group S.H.E's return to the music scene as a group, a 20-metre long red carpet was laid out to welcome them at the offices of their management agency, HIM International Music.
On their arrival, the trio was greeted by the company's 70 employees, who stood on both sides of a red carpet which extended from the lift door to the company's offices, cheering "S.H.E! S.H.E!" The grand welcome was to celebrate S.H.E's reunion after a 32-months hiatus since their last record together.
Member Selina Jen was thrilled over the welcome, expressing, "I felt so pampered! The next time we step into the recording studio, we must have this kind of welcome too!"
Newly-married member, Ella Chen candidly joked that it felt like a wedding again and that she will "go grab my wedding gown and walk this red carpet again!"
Selina shared that the members were worried that "our (singing) key is lower now, seeing that two of us are already married and you know how time does not wait for anyone". The singer then added that "luckily after a check with the sound engineer, our key did not change."
For their 13th album, the trio's company prepared a golden bow and 13 mandarin oranges which symbolised "a good start in work" and made a deliberate arrangement to let them commerce recording at 3.13pm.
Member Hebe Tien who had released two solo albums during the hiatus could not contain her excitement, expressing that she made a wish to wake up on time for recordings. She said, "I'll try my best to wake up on time and not be late. It's a very practical wish!"
Latest update on Makiyo's incident

Just when she thought it was all over, Makiyo has been hauled back to court to face charges for her drunken assault on a taxi driver.
The High Court had earlier handed the entertainer a three-year suspended sentence of 10 months in prison in May for her part in the drunken assault, which also involved her boyfriend, Takateru Tomoyori, and two other Taiwanese celebrities, Yaz and Vanessa.
An appeal has now been lodged for the original charge of assault to be amended to grievous hurt, and for harsher punishment to be meted out accordingly.
Makiyo and Tomoyori have commented that they had paid the victim's family NT$3 million (S$12,000) for their actions and hope that the High Court will be lenient with them.
Outside the courtroom, Makiyo shared, "I miss everyone and I haven't had any alcohol in five months. I'm planning to participate in community service activities and rebuild my image. I also hope to quit drinking."
She will be sentenced on August 1.
Olivia sings the theme song for NDP 2012
Its official, local singer Olivia Ong will be singing the theme song of NDP 2012 titled, "Love at First Light".
I am so excited for her!!! Its finally her turn!!!
In my opinion, this is definitely one of the better NDP theme songs we had in years.

The Kpop industry is flooded with idol groups but in reality only a few made it to the top.
Hence, it is relatively difficult for new comers to make it to the top.
In today's episode we will be featuring the strongest new comers in the Kpop music industry.
First up is Cube Entertainment latest male group, BtoB.
As a member of Cube Entertainment, this makes them the 师弟 of Beast, 4 Minute and G.Na.
Well, i personally think this is quite a strong group and the leader/lead vocalist really have a strong voice.
But some wonders if they are just duplicates of their senior, Beast.
I guess they will have to try to venture into different genres and edge out their own path.
This is BtoB's debut single, Insane.
Next up is B.A.P.
I think this group has huge potential because these guys managed to set their themselves apart from the rest within the first year of their debut.
Very impressive rapping skills and dance movements. And the hip hop image is also very strong.
This is their latest single, Power.
I love the spray can dance move towards the end. Very creative.
SM Entertainment's EXO also made its debut this year.
I like the concept of EXO. It consist of 12 members but split into 2 groups of 6. Each targeting a different market. EXO-K to target the Korean market while EXO-M focuses on the Chinese market.
Maybe you guys will have a better grasp of this concept when you look at this music video ba.
I think quite cool.
This is EXO with MAMA.
This next rookie group is the only newcomer featured today that manages to get themselves a number 1 spot amidst strong competition from strong bands like miss A, Big Bang and etc.
They are Busker Busker.
The music they do is a little bit of indie style and hence sets them apart from the usual dancing idols.
Very refreshing addition to the Kpop industry.
Love the unique husky voice of the main vocals.
This is the single from their first album called Cherry Blossom Ending.
Out of all the female newcomers, only one girl called my eye and her name is Juniel.
A simple girl with her guitar. No gimmicks and no overly make-up face.
She reminds me of IU.
Two songs from her for you to listen to.
"Stupid" is a collaboration with her senior, CN-Blue's Yong Hwa and her title track "Illa Illa".
