The path of the tram can be really steep. Surprisingly it allows standing passengers too. If you don't grab the pole tightly, you'll just fall...towards the rear of the tram.
Unfortunately the weather was foggy so the visibility was limited. If the weather is clear, we should be able to see the buildings and hilly terrains beyond.
The building is designed in a way to prevent people from enjoying the scenery fully and taking perfect pictures without paying to visit the observation deck or dine at the restaurants which are facing the view.
Visited the famous wax museum, which housed lifelike wax models of well-known celebrities, sportsmen, as well as notable political and historical figures. Models include Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Bruce Lee, Andy Lau, Aaron Kwok, Jet Li, Donnie Yen, Jay Chou, Barbie Hsu, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Micheal Jackson, Madonna, Lady Gaga, David Beckham, and many more. The only Singaporean is non other than MM Lee.
Hmm, would buildings in SG be as flashy as these?
Bruce Lee. *cries like a crow*
The scenic nightview of the harbour facing the southern part of the commercial district at Hong Kong Island.
Every night at 8pm, there will be a light and laser display along both sides of the harbour. Not really that spectacular IMO, but it is considered good for a daily affair. I wonder how much is spent on putting up the display everyday... Anyway I still prefer looking at fireworks.
Throughout the trip I can really feel that Christmas is approaching. Came across countless Christmas trees, heard countless Christmas tunes being played, saw countless decorations with Santa Claus, reindeer, mistletoe, etc. The cold weather further adds to the Xmas mood. Why can't I feel it in SG?
To end off, I wish everyone in advance...
...MERRY CHRISTMAS!
