Hong Kong (III) - Macau

Hong Kong and Macau often come together. After all travelling between these two countries is so convenient, with only purchasing the ferry tickets and going through the immigrations. No bag check is conducted, thus the whole procedure can be completed very quickly. It only takes about 15 minutes from reaching the ferry terminal to boarding the ferry. Furthermore, HK currency can be used in Macau too.

A chapel and a lighthouse located at the highest natural point of Macau.

Breathtaking view of the Macau skyline.

Do you know that Macau has the highest population density in the world?

No panoramic pictures so I took a video instead.

Cannon aimed towards the city.

Typical plaza with fountain and statue.

A well-known tourist spot - Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral. What's left is only the front facade. There is no interior.

Tried its famous food - Portuguese tart and pork bun. The former is much tastier.

Christmas trees are everywhere, but this one looks a little different from the rest haha.

Casinos and hotels, with their unique exterior design and architecture, can be seen throughout the city. The whole district looks very 'high class'.

This is the most outstanding casino/hotel of all. The architecture of the bottom reminds me of Ion Orchard.

On the way to Macau Tower.

View from the top of the tower.

If the glass breaks, that's it.

Such catchphrase is probably banned in Singapore. Especially at MRT platforms haha.

Nice interior design of the mall. Does it feel like Venice?

Another casino.

Why does this lion look more majestic than our Merlion?

Pray to Guanyin that you can strike it rich here.

In Macau, you can get bored of seeing casinos.

At night, the streets become a parade of lights.

Yea they have 'Sands' there too.
