Fortunately the weather was good and there was no rain to spoil the outdoor activities. Temperature was around 17 degree (slightly below aircon temp) but it can get really cold in the morning or night when the wind blows. Luckily I didn't catch a flu nor fall sick. I'm usually weak against cold weather.

Personally I feel the streets look rather messy and cluttered. The pedestrian walkways are narrow and large neon signs protrude from every building. In a way, these signs further add life and bustle to the busy streets, especially at night when it becomes really dazzling.
Old residential buildings and new commercial buildings coexist in the city area, like our Chinatown district. But the exterior of the old buildings are turning black and can look really rundown. There are also a lot of construction/maintenance works going on, with structures wrapped with scaffolds. On one hand these may look unsightly, but on the other hand you may say it's a form of culture preservation.
As we all know, HK lies on a mountainous terrain. Roads and pathways can be really steep. Just imagine everywhere is as undulating as NUS. However the hills form a nice backdrop for the city landscape.
Witnessed the flag raising ceremony in one morning. There is supposed to be a monument behind but it is temporarily covered by that white structure.
A nice morning view of the harbour facing the northern commercial district (Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon).
Is that a condominium or a flat? In any case it looks really high. About 50 storeys maybe?
A demonstration/protest? This was shot in front of the legislative building. The nearby plaza also serves as a spot for citizens to conduct political activities, similar to our Hong Lim Park.
The sun sets at about 5.45pm. By 6pm it would be dark. Thanks to this there is no need to wait so long to witness the night view of the city.
The Christmas mood is everywhere. =)
The mango dessert from 许留山 that Mango recommended.
