The weather is really hot recently, and with the global warming condition worsening day by day, we can only expect the temperatures to keep rising. So it is really important that we drink lots and lots of water daily to keep ourselves healthy. But do you know that there are ways to drink water too. Today, the informative column is going to share with you the correct ways of drinking water.
Its better to drink a glass of 200 to 250cc of water at one go than to just drink one or two small sips to quench your thirst as drinking more water at one go will allow the body to effectively absorb these water.
Drinking water with an empty stomach will allow the water to flow through the digestive system smoothly thus aiding in the absorption of the water drunk.
Drinking ice cold water is bad for your digestive system. It is better and more adviseable to drink warm water as it is better for your health.
Drink water regularly. Don't just drink water when you are thirsty. A lot of us are so busy with work and our daily life that we often forget to drink water. This will result in our bladder and kidney failure and many will have backaches.
Thus, in order to help you drink water regularly, here is a timetable for you guys to follow daily.
At 6.30am,
After a night's sleep, the body has already loses much of its water. At this time, it is adviseable to drink 250cc of water to release the toxins in your kidney and liver.
At 8.30am,
On your way to work or lessons, the atmosphere is very tense and you will likely to be in a very rush mood. It is during this time that your body will lose some of its water so it is adviseable to drink at least 250cc of water at this time.
At 11am,
After sitting in the air-conditioned office or lecture room for a long time, you body is likely to lose some water too. Take this time, to stretch your body and drink some water to relax yourself.
At 12.50pm,
Remember to drink water half an hour after you have finished your lunch as this will help your body to better digest the food taken in.
At 3pm,
Its tea break time. However, it is good to substitute water with your usual coffee or tea. Try drinking mineral water also as the nutrients in mineral water is good for your health.
At 5.30pm,
Drink some water before finishing work or school so that your stomach is full and you will not overeat during dinner time.
At 10pm,
Half an hour or 1 hour before you sleep, make sure you drink a glass of water too.
