It's pretty scary thinking that someone could bring sulphuric acid into the MRT and spill it. And this is a nasty chemical to have...

Usually people will avoid sitting on seats with liquid spills, but sometimes we just sit down without noticing it. The nastiest liquid I've sat on is aircon cooling water. It was leaking from the aircon vent above a bus seat, but I didn't notice it because the liquid was absorbed into dark-coloured SMRT bus cushioned seat. I only realised it until some dripped onto my head. The worse thing was, the cooling liquid was really smelly (reeks of metal) and it stained my shorts too. A visible wet mark could be seen at butt area. It was pretty embarrassing to walk around too. Luckily I was on the way home at that time otherwise...

Ever since then I became wary about liquid spills on public seats, especially those below aircon vents. Look carefully before you sit.
