We reported last week about 张韶涵's family incident.
Here is the recent update as reported by xinmsn.
Recently, Taiwanese singer Angela Chang's family scandal became news fodder. Despite being accused of ditching her parents and not paying her taxes, the singer has never commented on the issues.

When she spoke of the scandal recently, Angela referred the matter as "that incident".

"I did not do anyone wrong. I need to protect my rights. If I did nothing wrong, I will not shed a single tear," Angela emphasised.

When asked if she was a stubborn person, Angela said that she has a brave and strong personality. If she did nothing wrong, she would stand up to it. However, most of the times, she did not because she wanted to protect her family.

"That doesn't mean I did something wrong. If everything had to be black or white, it would hurt my family and me if I let everyone know [what's going on]. After going through so much, I treasure my younger siblings and people who support me more," the singer added.

As for the public's criticism, Angela said to "let them all come" and that "this journey was more difficult than I had expected, but I would not regret it, now that I've taken the first step".

Selina's compensation for her injury was finally settled.

Taiwanese pop starlet Selina Jen received yet another piece of good news before the end of the Tiger year.

Selina Jen was filming I Have a Date with Spring, when she was badly burnt in an on set accident on Oct 22 last year. After 102 days of discussion, compensation to Selina was finally settled.

The S.H.E singer, her family and the company which the production crew belonged to, were all at the signing of the agreement yesterday. Father Jen and Selina's fiancé Richard Chang were also present.

According to the contents of the agreement, Selina's management company HIM International, Selina and the production crew agreed to finalise the matter once and for all.

The production crew would have to pay Selina the hospitalisation and plastic surgery expenses incurred, as well as her one-year loss of income and two-year therapy sessions.

Furthermore, there would be additional compensation to her mental health and psychological therapy sessions.

HIM International did not reveal how much the compensation sum was due to a privacy policy.

However, media estimated that compensation would be over NT$100 million (S$4.4 million), since that is how much Selina earns per annum.

"Thank you everyone for your concern. The two men (Father Jen and Richard), who love me, can finally relax and have a good year now. It's not bad," an overjoyed Selina said.

When asked if he was satisfied with the compensation, Richard said that he "did not make a decision, or opinion", so he "did not know what he should say".

HIM International said that they were "not exactly satisfied, but [the compensation was] acceptable".
