陈靓瑄 who was recently enrolled into the NUS Business Administrative course admitted to the public after many years of speculation that she has went for plastic surgery. But however said that it was only for double eye lid and nothing else. The reason for her keeping the secret for so many years was because many of her colleagues and Mediacorp advice her to keep a secret about this. She said that she had a tough time keep this secret as she is usually very bad at keeping things to herself and is usually very honest and dun like to lie. She explains that her breakdown on the variety show 《艺点心思》 was due to her indecisiveness as to whether to tell everyone the secret as she wasn't sure whether the time was mature. Right now, she said she is starting a new chapter in life and that's why she do not want to hide anymore things and do not wanna keep lying to people.
With regards to her new life as a student, she said that she almost missed out on the opportunity to study as she has forgotten to do an online reply saying that she wanna accept the offer. As a result, by the time she enrolled, most of the modules are already taken up. So she is taking only 4 modules this semester. She said that she might have to work harder next semester or probably do a special term to catch up.

He revealed all this in a latest Taiwanese variety show where he was there to promote his latest solo album. He said "I feel troubled everyday so I frequently lock myself up in my room, doing nothing except watch movie and surf the net for days." "When I saw news of a Korean celebrity committing suicide, I realize the events leading up to the celebrity's suicide was eerily similar to mine, so I was pretty worried that I might end up taking the same path." He adds that he has been training in Korea since the age of 19 and many times he felt that he was being mistreated. He also revealed that he has a relationship in 2002 and it lasted for 4 years. He had been single ever since. The relationship did not work out due to work commitments and with an upcoming concert and movie projects on its way, he said he want his career to stabilize before jumping into a relationship.
