As of Chinese News Year, Mediacorp artiste 陈凤玲 will be changing her name to 陈靓瑄. The reason for the change of name is that she get to know a Taiwanese Shifu through her friend and finally she decides to change to this name to improve her overall luck, not just soley for her career. Well, personally, i think she shouldn't change her name at this point in time, cos she is already like so popular already, then shouldn't change name cos it might cos people to forgot your name or even forget you. N if really wanna change i think should change to a name that sounds similar to her original name. Well, but this is her choice so we wish her all the best with this change in name.

Remember we once reported about EMI (Capitol) CEO 陈泽杉 and his conflict with 周杰伦?
Well, we have news that 陈泽杉 is resigning his post as CEO of EMI.
The press and fans of 孙燕姿 are all very concerned of her position now as they felt that with the departure of 陈泽杉, Yanzi will be neglected by her company. Her agent replied saying that Yanzi still have 1 album with her current company which is Capitol and she has expressed interest in acting in a movie. Her company will try to allow her to act in a movie this year so fans can look forward to it.

If you have been paying attention to the showbiz this week, you must have known of the recent 陈冠希 incident. If you don't know, let me tell you.
Indecent Photos of 陈冠希 and other female celebrities like Twins' 阿娇 and 张柏芝 were posted on the internet. The person who posted these also claims that he have pictures of 萧亚轩 and 蔡依林. It is well known that Edison has the habit of taking this type of photos will his girlfriends and up till now he has already taken this type of pictures with up till 14 female celebrities. However, no one knows whether these pictures are computer edited. Edison has been feeling really down for the past few days and apologizes to all those affected by this incident.

Alright, I have Singapore's Top 10 best selling Mandarin Album in 2008.

Personally, i am puzzled as to why Jolin's Agent J is not in this list. I have glanced at the remaining 10th to 20th position. She is not in there also.
Even Xiao Zhu's SpeShow and 舞所不在 both made it to the top 20th position. Hmm. Wonder why no Jolin?

Jupiter's Special
Okay, as you know Chinese New Year is coming.
And this Chinese New Year, we are very lucky to have three really nice Asian movies to look forward to.
All these three movies looks equally promising and engaging. So this week, we are declaring Jupiter's Special as Movies' Week to let u take a slight peek on these 3 movies.

First up, is local production by our very own homegrown director 梁智强. This movie is called 《老师嫁老大》.
Fann Wong acts a tough secret society leader, while Mark Lee acts as a sissy dance teacher.
So what happens when these interesting couple gets together and even get married?
Check out this movie trailer, Mark Lee is damn funny lor, especially with his Malaysian accent.


Next up is 周星驰 latest movie, 《长江七号》.
I guess if u like Stephen Chow and his really Chow's humor, you will like it a lot. Don't really know much about the story though so lets just take a look at the trailer.

And oh, do you know? The little boy in the show?
The actor is actually a girl. Cool right? So young can act so well le. Haha.

Okay next up is the movie that Zhui Xing will be checking together.
Starring 周杰伦, Twins'"阿Sa", this movie is called《功夫灌蓝》.
Lets take a look a this trailer ba. I must say the visual effects and the fighting scenes are done very nicely.


This is the theme song and more scenes from this movie, called 周大侠.
I think very clever lor, they way they rhyme 功夫 and 豆腐. Haha
