充实的一周

I think this week is a better week.
Maybe because i am busy with other things ba. Not stuck in that stupid workshop doing something i don't like. Basically i just stayed in the workshop on Monday. The other days busy with something else.

Well, on tuesday, me and some my friends in the company started rehearsing for the unit anniversary.
Basically, we are suppose to do up an item or two for the event.
In the morning, we stayed in the company to practise one item with the new guys. I am actually suppose to sing a song that i have never heard before and all the new guys will be my background vocals. So basically, the whole morning, i am just busy trying to learn that song and all the others involved (the guitarist and other colleagues good in music) trying to find the right key for my vocals.
They found my key in the end, but the background vocals were quite horrible. Haha. So we make some changes. In the end, me and three other new guys will sing that song as a group. Each of us has solo parts.
Well, actually, i was more surprised that i could actually learn that song in one day since i have never heard it before.

In the afternoon, we headed down to one of my friend house to rehearse for my other performance. Yes, my company is putting up 2 performances and i am involved in both of them. That means i am suppose to sing 2 English songs. My gosh. Thats like so out of my comfort zone lor. Coz i always sing Chinese songs one. Plus i have to sing with a live band, quite challenging also. For a person we have sing only once on stage, thats quite a challenge. But i hope i will put up a good performance that night.
After browsing through a lot of songs, we settled down on this song.

Michael Buble's Everything.
Hope can sing this song well.
But actually this song not easy to sing. Coz its the timing very hard to catch. And for a person we is more comfortable with chinese songs. I have to go and memorize the lyrics and pronounce it properly to make it sound nice. Still have practise more coz a lot of areas need to brush up.
Listen to the guitar also, haha, very difficult too. My friend who is playing the guitar found it quite challenging too. However, i pray that the performance will be a success.
By the end of the rehearsals, my lungs are burning le. Haha. So tired.

When are we going out again?
Hope it is sometime soon.
